Vinterget

Even though it's a simple game, I found it very entertaining. Once I started playing, I couldn't stop until I finished.

Adorei o game, a mecânica de escalada é muito divertida e a arte é ainda melhor! No começo foi bem difícil pra mim, mas depois que peguei o jeito fica muito divertido, e a rejogabilidade é muito boa, você tenta passar cada vez mais rápido e com menos mortes. Espero que os devs lancem dlc ou mais coisa do Vinterget, curti o universo

Vinterget is a short, sweet, game to play, but also really tough. If you like challenge , this is defiantly it. Some of my highlights include the level design. It's well designed that every time you made a mistake, it's you're fault, and every attempt makes you better as a player. The music and pixel art go hand in well pretty great, as the music is pretty beautiful sounding. The type of music you would imagine climbing up a snow mountain. Simple but works. I also liked the setting to always display you're aim of the hook, whenever you are using it or not, pretty helpful. The only thing I didn't like is that the death sound effect is weirdly low effort when implemented compared to the other sound effects and music. I only say this because you will be hearing it a lot in you're play trough. But that's about it really. If you prefer a challenge on a budget, this is deferentially a recommend from me. (P.S. It took me one hour, fifty-five minutes, and 350 deaths to beat the game)

Um jogo incrível e mto bonito

The game description is 100% accurate :) chill litlle platformer. Game mechanics work quite well. I recommend using keyboard/mouse for this one.

I tried the demo some time ago and got so into it, I played a short 5 minutes build for 15 hours. Short and simple, Vinterget it's a chill platformer, set on a snowy mountain, that gets challenging level after level. If You don't have a preference, I personally recommend playing with mouse and keyboard (said the controller player), You can throw the axe more accurately that way. I take the chance to thanks again the dev, who trusted me with a key a little ahead of time. Btw don't look at my play time, I like to mess around a bit. You should be able to get to the top under the two hours mark.

Pros: The gameplay is chill and intuitive, you always know how to go forward but at the same time it's always challenging. The difficulty increases at the same time that you grow accustomed with the controls. The more you play the better you'll get, especially since most of the challenges rely on learning how to use the game specific mechanics properly, but the consistency and accuracy of the controls allows for a better prediction and outcome in the next challenges, providing a smooth, but challenging experience and a very fast paced second run. The environment and level design are overall good and so is the soundtrack that although is a single track, the game itself is also not very long. Cons: The game delivers what is expected, so not very much for cons, but I'd like to highlight that the game can be very challenging and frustrating for those who are not accustomed to challenging 2D platformers and you'll probably take some time to adjust to the mechanics of throwing your axe and swinging.

I just love this game (as you can see with my game time). Probably the best 3$ I have spent in a long time. Btw, the game is on speedrun.com if you want to beat me ;)
