In this hidden object adventure a young woman is attacked and murdered in the middle of the night inside a locked room. There are only two ways out: a dead- bolted door and a single window blocked by iron bars. How did the murderer escape?

No achievements The ending comes very suddenly The story isn't told well, possibly due to poor translations from French. Overall it's okay, more wandering around than actual hidden object scenes or puzzles. No warping from the map, you have to walk to X location My friend rates it 6.5/10 after we've played a whole ton of HOGs.
Fun little mystery game with some slightly challenging puzzles. Fast paced and entertaining six hour long game. Worth trying if you can find it for five dollars.
Victorian Mysteries: The Yellow Room adapts Gaston Leroux’s classic locked-room mystery into a modern-leaning hidden object adventure. Traditional search scenes are gradually supplemented by inventory-based tasks and light puzzle mini-games, giving the game a more contemporary structure. The story is conveyed clearly, but the player’s role remains largely observational. As Sainclair, you document evidence and follow events while Rouletabille conducts the actual detective work. The environments are detailed and easy to navigate, yet the investigation rarely feels interactive or intellectually demanding. Presentation is competent rather than striking. Cutscenes show modest animation, voice acting is serviceable, and the classical music — drawn from Tchaikovsky — is effective but repetitive. A full playthrough is short, lasting only a few hours. Overall, The Yellow Room offers a faithful but restrained interpretation of its source material. It suits players interested in narrative-driven hidden object games, but may disappoint those looking for a more active or challenging detective experience.
Nice game.
Average Game - Detective Fred Larson is the main killer but sadly you cannot kill him as he escaped in the train. Pathetic ending if you ask me. I like satistying endings.
Poderia ter traduções para português para facilitar, tive que traduzir todo o game para entender a história. De resto o game é top, Puzzles, história gráficos, o tipo de game que eu gosto para passar o tempo.
I really enjoyed it and was sorry it was over! I recommend this game for mystery lovers and fans of the Victorian era. There is only one thing I would like to see added and that is a hint button for more than just the hidden object scenes. I only got stuck once, and that was because I overlooked an item. It was not hard to find, but I missed it anyway. I had to find a walkthrough video to get unstuck - so a hint button would be really nice.
