'Cosplaying' vampire challenged by a demon to a game with a castle at stake. Should you try this product or just buy some garlic instead? The story places you in the shoes of a female vampire, who just returned home, only to be met with a new design and owner. Now to get your castle back, you'll need to go through a number of puzzles and enemies. There is only one ending, so one playthrough is sufficient to see all events. It sure ain't an epic, world-saving tale, but that also ain't the main focus of this game. Puzzles and scuffles are where this product affirms its merit. While this rpg was made in the RPG Maker, it does have some fairly unique combat mechanics, making it stand out a little bit within the endless sea of RPG Maker games. Your attack options and stats depend on the state of your body. Transformations of body parts, either imposed by enemy attacks or through crystals, will modify skills dependent on the particular part: head, torso, arms, crotch, and legs. The type of attack (melee, ranged, or magic), effects, and number of skill changes. Also, stats are modified per every transformed part. Additionally, the location (front or back) during battle also impacts which skills to use. You can move with specific skills, so the location is yours to decide. Puzzles are tied to body transformations. To find hidden items or unblock passages, will require you to use particular transformations. Most are easy to solve, but a few can pose a more serious challenge. There is also a shop where you can obtain potions, upgrades, and accessories. There are no level ups here so the only way to get stronger is through item upgrades; initially they are pretty costly, so some grinding will be required but near the end it gets more affordable. The difficulty is moderate, but since there are no game overs, you can just pick yourself up by your bootstraps and resume the fight. Ending all trials and tribulations can be done in less than 10h. There is an option of new game+ in case you feel like replaying the adventure. I was happy enough with one run. The character art of this title does not suit my tastes much; I judge it at most average. Some body transformations were rather weird, but who am I to judge if some like them. 'Tis but my subjective feeling. Dungeons are rather compact and uninspired. Even considering the low price more could be done. Maybe the brevity is a positive aspect, though. The h-scenes are presented with text, only; they're brief and basic. Overall, visuals have a budget feel, indeed. Music is average at best, too. Nothing was memorable or catchy, but at least none of the tracks irritated my sound receptors. Sound effects are of similar standard as well. Several times my screen froze while playing. I could still act, but not see. Game restart was required every time. I recommend saving frequently. Overall, a very much short, budget rpg, with a silly story, uncommon battle mechanics, and average art and music. I can't say I disliked it very much, but I can only give positive recommendation when on serious sale: 4.8/10
Here's the thing. I get that the list of TF games were quite limited a few and more years ago, and I probably could compliment this one for trying, but no. Despite the rather interesting idea and some kind of a story, it is simply not interesting to play. Yes, the main feature here is the possibility of transforming body parts and try different combinations which will affect your skills. Even though the actual look is random and awkward - I kinda like it, it's like an enemy you fight with is infecting and turning your body into something like her own. Plus, quite interesting to try different "builds". However, the implementation of an adult genre like this is simply lame. I doubt that putting more emphasis on the explicit visuals or the depth of the plot would've saved it from my disappointment, but at least it would be justified to have NSFW in the tags and would raise interest to the game itself. Ah yes, the grind that needed for advancing through the story - my favorite. The reason I was able to get to the maids location, when VB finally lost me after a few tries; hucows are meh - very sad boring looking; and the only okayish part for me personally was the bimbo area, which is literally the start of the game. Overall, I think it's unjustified that this game costs so much even in the region with the lowest price possible. Today you can find much more complex, catchy games with, God forgive me, juicy shots, good visual and interesting plot and characters. And all that for the same or even lower price on itch.io or any similar website/marketplace for independent creators. Which are also not made exclusively on a RPG maker from its bare assets, just for the sake of chibi-walking and the same type of screen battles. And judging by the following projects of this dev, which he releases to this day, I don't see any difference between them, neither much point in buying them to try. If I recommended something instead, it would be Latex Dungeon (also in Steam). Of course, there are problems in it too, but for exactly the same price you will get a lot more joy, both from a variety of high-quality hand-drawn explicit arts, animations, combat, characters and visual effects.
