Sure it's a game the same way taking a poop is a soul enrinching expirence. The market is leveraged by one guy with thousands in his inventory. Its fine for what it is but for what's available this uses way too much resources for how simple it is. If you like the ASTHETIC then sure but otherwise it's a scam waiting to happen.

#OYUNUMADOKUNMA

Simple clicker game about collecting VHS tapes
Games aren’t just distractions—they’re little machines for rehearsing the absurd rituals of existence. You press a button, numbers go up, meaning emerges from the void, and suddenly you’re staring into the static of your own life wondering why it feels so damn good. VHS gets that on a bone-deep level. This isn’t some bloated incremental pretending to be profound. It’s a gloriously stupid, perfectly tuned love letter to the clicker genre wrapped in grainy 80s videotape soul. And somehow, in its hypnotic simplicity, it says more about time, memory, and hunger than most narrative epics ever manage. You click the tape. The counter climbs. Rewind, fast-forward, click again. Every tap feels like jamming your finger through the tracking lines of an old rental you watched until the magnetic ribbon cried uncle. The retro CRT aesthetic drips with nostalgia—scanlines, tracking glitches, that perfect low-fi warmth. The music? Pure 80s synth that burrows into your skull and refuses to leave, looping like a tape you forgot to stop. Then every couple of hours the game just… drops something. A random item, like the universe rewarding your patience with a mysterious plastic case from the bargain bin. It’s surreal in the best way: you’re not grinding for power so much as curating your own private video graveyard. The philosophy sneaks up on you while you’re not looking. This is the art of waiting made interactive. You set the conditions—upgrades, achievements, leaderboard climbs—then let the idle engine hum in the background like a VCR left running overnight. Come back and your little empire of VHS has grown without you. There’s dark humor in how pointless and perfect it feels: we’re all just clicking through life, chasing bigger numbers while the tape slowly degrades. The leaderboards turn it competitive in the pettiest, most human way possible. Someone out there is out-clicking you right now, and you’ll both die someday with the same flickering glow on your faces. Beautiful. Sure, it’s simple. Some runs blur into the same satisfying loop of tapping, upgrading, and watching the counter devour time. But that’s the irreverent genius. It never pretends to be more than it is: a gloriously analog clicker that understands the joy of small rituals repeated until they become meditation. The item collection, the achievements pacing, the way new unlocks feel like finding a hidden tape in the back of the store—it all clicks (pun painfully intended) into this weirdly addictive whole. VHS doesn’t lecture you about the nature of play. It just hands you the remote, hits record on the absurdity of it all, and lets you press play again tomorrow. If you believe games can be minimalist interactive art that quietly comments on obsession, nostalgia, and the gentle comedy of trying to fill the void one click at a time, then rewind this one into your library immediately. 10/10 would let the tape eat itself and start over tomorrow. Just one more click.
