You will have to visit the patient's apartment, find out about the agent's disappearance and submit a report to VGL Corporation. The task is easy, but after you enter the apartment, the picture will change and only the goal will remain - to survive!

VGL: Imperative is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. The game is very very short and can be finished in about 15 minutes. Developers have at least some responsibility to provide enough content to make a game last more than 2 hours if they're serious about providing something of value to gamers. There's less content here than some free game demos. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. It's just the typical Russian "horror" Unity asset flip... a few jumpscares from asset flipped models as you wander around an asset flipped apartment complex. Lazy Russian shovelware at best, but we know this is an unethical asset flip, stealing the work of others to claim it as their own. Bad for gamers, bad for the industry. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this asset flip? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? VGL: Imperative is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the asset flip, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
能把我吓到就是好游戏
A very short horror game with a nice story. It's one of those asset games that most of these type of games have but unless you're super purist, they used them nicely. It doesn't look like a copy from other games. It's very straight forward "walking sim" with couple of jumpscares that actually did make me jump! There is very little customization to the game, the menu doesn't have any settings that lets you change controls or for example resolution so you're kinda stuck with whatever you have. I have widescreen monitor so that was a bit strange/awkward to play with. Still liked it, worth playing if you like short atmospheric horror <3
scary 11/10 would ♥♥♥♥ my pants again
Pretty bad horror game. Very low effort aesthetics, cliché story and nothing but jump scares. The entire game had roughly one good scare in it, and unfortunately that was a jump scare. The narrative makes zero sense, and it doesn't help that the English translation is quite poor. The entire game is basically multiple "find the key to the next door" fetch quests with a few badly timed and predictable jump scares sprinkled in. There is no visual coherence between the environments, so I have to assume most of the assets come from different asset stores. The locations in the game lack detail and precision, the feel like someone just threw them together in Unity in half a day. Even if you like horror games, I'd avoid this.
