Guide a robotic mission in Venus’s polar clouds in this space colonisation city builder. Collect energy, mine resources, balance buoyancy to stay afloat, in the treacherous Venusian atmosphere, and build a self-sufficient base while navigating storms and acid clouds to hunt mysterious anomalies.

About
Build a robotic floating platform in the hostile clouds of Venus.
In Venusville: Prologue, take command of an autonomous corporate mission to construct and stabilize a floating platform high in Venus’s polar atmosphere. With no humans on board, your robotic workforce must establish infrastructure, maintain balance, and power the systems to needed to test the future colony technology.
But as the platform approaches the planet’s swirling polar cyclone, strange signals begin to emerge…
Robotic City Building: Direct worker and engineer robots to process resources, builder robots to construct modules, and transport robots to optimize production, powered by charging stations and maintained by repair bays.
Buoyancy and Balance: Carefully position solar panels, Stirling engines, heavy batteries and vertical engines to keep your platform stable, preventing flips or descents into high-pressure depths.
Polar Exploration: Build a scanner station to map the polar region and track down the mysterious anomaly once detected from orbit.
Power Management: Harness solar energy and Stirling engines (using heat differences from altitude changes) to power robots and establish production chain.
Atmospheric Resource Extraction: Mine raw gases from the clouds and refine them into sulphur-based plastics, carbons, chemicals and metals.
Manufacture Advanced Materials: Use the basic resources to expand your city and manufacture materials like graphene, nanotubes, electronics, and diamond-based computer chips.
Environmental Challenges: Survive acid clouds, extreme temperatures, and pressure hazards that threaten your platform’s stability and power supply.

Venusville: Prologue is a focused, replayable prequel to the upcoming Venusville, introducing its unique floating-city mechanics in a mysterious and volatile setting. Build, stabilize, and prepare — something is waiting in the clouds.

Venusville - Prologue is a space colony builder where you command a robotic platform floating in Venus's atmosphere. You build infrastructure, gather resources, manage power, and balance the weight and buoyancy of your colony to keep it from dropping into the hostile clouds below. Pros ✔️ The building is fairly automated - Once you place what you want, the robots handle a lot of the actual construction, which could make managing a much larger colony easier later on. ✔️ The controls are familiar - Moving around and placing things uses enough standard city-builder controls that I did not have to spend forever figuring out the basics. ✔️ It does indeed run - I struggled to find much else I felt strongly positive about in the prologue, but the game functioned and I was able to play it. Cons ❌ The UI feels clunky - Almost immediately I felt like I was fighting with the menus and placement instead of comfortably building my platform. ❌ The writing and voice presentation are weak - I know the tutorial is being delivered by an AI, but that did not make the awkward dialogue and delivery work any better for me. ❌ The presentation did not sell me on the concept - A floating robotic colony above Venus sounds pretty neat, but the graphics and actual gameplay presentation felt much more mediocre than the menus initially made me expect. Conclusion A prologue should make me want to see what the full game becomes, and Venusville did pretty much the opposite. I was already checking out only a few minutes in and nothing in the opening gave me much reason to push past that. There may be a much better colony builder waiting later on, but based on what this prologue chose to show me, I do not really feel the need to find out. Score 2/10 Hardly Floating Platforms - This one could not keep my interest airborne.

Venusville: Prologue immediately caught my attention because building a floating colony in the clouds of Venus is such a strong setting for a city builder. I take control of a robotic mission tasked with establishing a stable platform in an extremely hostile environment, and I liked how the dangers of Venus are directly connected to the way I build. The most interesting mechanic for me is buoyancy and balance. I have to carefully position heavy and light structures so that the floating platform stays stable instead of tipping or descending into more dangerous parts of the atmosphere. I really enjoyed this because building something new is not just about having enough resources. I also have to think about where it belongs physically. Resource management and automation are another major part of the experience. My robotic workforce can gather materials, process them and construct new modules while charging and repair systems keep everything running. I liked watching the platform slowly become more self sufficient as I connected the different production systems together. The hostile environment adds plenty of pressure. Acid clouds, extreme temperatures and pressure hazards can interfere with the colony, so I cannot simply build without paying attention to what is happening around me. The mysterious signals and anomaly also give the prologue something to investigate beyond the usual resource loop. My biggest issue is that it is still a prologue, so the overall experience feels limited. There is enough here to demonstrate the central ideas, but I wanted more buildings, more freedom and more opportunities to develop the colony. Some of the systems also take a little time to understand when I first start playing. Even so, the physical balance system gives Venusville a clear identity. I like that the game turns something as ordinary as placing a building into a decision about the survival of the whole platform. It makes the city builder feel more interactive and gives me a reason to think carefully about every expansion. Overall, Venusville: Prologue is a promising colony builder with a genuinely clever central idea. I enjoyed balancing the floating platform, managing robotic workers and surviving the harsh Venusian environment. The prologue is limited, but the foundation is strong enough that I am interested in seeing how much further the full game can take these mechanics. Rating: 6.9/10
Sokkal komolyabb, mint amilyennek első pillantásra látszik.
ХОРОШИЯ ИГРА но НУЖНА ПОЛНАЯ ВЕРСИЯ !!!!
Very good concept, unique atmosphere. It's promising.
The game is a great concept, but the graphics and UI really need improvement. I got stuck at one point because I couldn't build a repair pad; despite trying repeatedly in different domes, the robots simply wouldn't bother building one, and since they weren't getting repaired, I couldn't continue playing. :D It shows promise if it gets further development.
