I think this is a really neat game that wears it's inspirations on it's sleeve. I'm not a huge fan of difficult trial-and-error games, so a lot of the deaths feel very cheap and it's hard to "flow" through combat at a fast pace since the enemies will react almost instantly and hitscan you. With some minor improvements and tweaks I'd probably be a much bigger fan, but if you like something like Hotline Miami you'd probably enjoy this, too. I'd be interested to see what the developer does in the future. Also, Christ is King †
I wanted to like this game and help a small developer. The story seemed interesting and i was excited to follow it, but the game play is quite bad. the enemies can shoot you thru corners on the walls, their reaction time is almost impossible to beat, and they see u first no matter what, so its all strictly based on luck. it makes the game un-enjoyable and stupidly hard for no reason at times. u cant sneak behind or or anything because they auto lock as soon as one pixel shows from ur body.
