Amazing Game, really enjoyable!
Vehicle VR is a really badly made tech demo of a "game" where you drive a low poly buggy thing around minimalist untextured platforms... the game plays worse than the screenshots make it look. This is not a game for playing, it's a game for putting down and avoiding. The game is very simplistic, small and limited in scope and ambition. This feels more like a tech demo, proof of concept or student homework assignment rather than a fully fledged product designed for PC gamers. As such it doesn't offer any real value as a serious PC game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game features lazy minimalist/untextured low-polygon "retro" assets and visuals, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. The lack of textures is a method that lazy devs often use to disguise their lack of talent/interest in doing the graphics properly and trying to disguise it under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers should have to put up with. It's unclear why the developers weren't willing to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets and high resolution textures for the game. It looks bad as a result of their decisions, and that's just another reason to avoid it. This was designed primarily for VR (but it will work without a headset, not that anyone would want to try). The VR focus of the game is a major crutch here, because without VR, this compares poorly to professionally developed games. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes the game great is the VR, then the game isn't great at all. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Vehicle VR is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product. This game features a small number of suspicious, likely fake positive reviews. The reviews all appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and all have very similar wording and writing style. Immediately after this huge peak of reviews, reviews (and player counts) for the game dropped incredibly sharply. This is highly unusual given the very low quality of the game and poor player counts. The "Positive" review score on this game should be taken with a large grain of salt. This might have been done to deceive/mislead gamers into paying for a bad product. The "Positive" review score on this game should be taken with a large grain of salt.
Oh it's just... not a game.
Mekanikleri çok hassas ve çok zor.
Tl;dr, I found this game boring after the first eight semi-repetitve levels. Complete cart-based physics sim, with almost no challenge after you clear the first level and uinderstand the physics conrtols acting on it. The first level I fell off about 6 to 9 times while I figured out how big the cart is on the platform and how fast you need to go to make the jumps. After that, between the second to the eighth level, I think I fell off a total of four times. And the final part that cemented my feels toward it was when I got stuck at one point with two wheels off, unable to move. And try as I might there didn't seem to be a pause and reset feature (maybe I didn't hit the right combo of buttons). But after that I was bored and done with the game. It felt like a 3D POV mario cart platformer.
It gives you suicidal tendencies 100/10 would buy again
I accidentally bought this game. 10/10 no refund
