About
Vampire Syndicate: Gangs of MoonFall is an old-school, narrative-driven RPG set amidst the vampire-dominated gangs of a cyberpunk city. As a Familiar of one of the ancient vampire lineages, you have been tasked by your undead masters to expand their criminal empire.
A story of blood, tears and sighs - The vampires of MoonFall are different from the ones you may be used to. While all vampires are undead and must drink blood, how vampirism is spread, and the array of powers a new vampire gains, will vary depending on the lineage. Each lineage is, in effect, a different “species” of vampire and the lineage that the player chooses will alter story events, making each playthrough with a specific lineage have its own unique quirks.

Old-School cRPG: Featuring turn-based combat, character creation, classes, skill checks, etc!
Erotic Entertainment: Vampires are sexual creatures, expect opportunities for casual sex or long-term romances.
Choice and Consequence: Faction reputations, NPC loyalties, dynamic world states, multiple story routes.
Hub-based Overworld: Explore a massive cyberpunk island city-state.
Immersive First and Third-person view: switch seamlessly between FPV and TPV.
Narrative Focus: Step into a setting with deep worldbuilding and characters. Expect a lot of reading.
The player character starts off as an unaffiliated street mercenary, but is quickly introduced to the vampiric underworld. In order to rise in the dark hierarchy, they must curry favor with their new masters, accomplish great deeds, and otherwise prove themselves in the Uzakh Drucah.
The ultimate prize of the player’s undying service is to be reborn as a vampire. Immortal, powerful, and the ultimate predator masquerading as a human.
Decide the fate of the Uzakh Drucah
The four major surviving vampire lineages find themselves at a crossroads. Their sins have returned to haunt them. It is a time of prophecy and heroes, and for you, that means a chance to make your mark on the world.
Crime pays
As the name suggests, the player’s main activity in Vampire Syndicate is to conduct criminal activities for their lineage faction. With the exception of a few rules, the player is offered complete freedom in how they go about this, and can complete missions or contracts using whatever method they prefer.
Adult content
Vampires are inherently sexual creatures, and during the course of the game, the player will have ample opportunities for casual sex or pursue long-term romances. Expect explicit sexual content.

I was really looking forward to this game, so unfortunately, when I saw the sale I bought it without reading the reviews. This would have been a decent demo. $20 for Early Access is not the appropriate way to test a game where nothing is complete or ready for beta testing. This game isn't ready for any kind of testing, as no one can test features that do not exist.
this is the least sure i've felt about a thumbs up review. The Game is very early access and very rough around the edges. Alot of empty 3 d spaces and the usual things you get with early access. But im reccomeding it because its super ambitious, especially for one guy to do. It might even be to ambitious. Hopefully not, but it seems like there is going to be alot of work to do and i don't think any of it will be cheap. This game is trying to be leagues above what most games in this genre are, honestly i think his vision is for it like AA RPG. I Don't think it will be done soon but if you want to support someone really going for it in a very redundant genre, then buy it. I'm confident it will be something worh playing
not trans-inclusive, which is a major disappointment to me, when a game has a heavy focus on sex, you should have more control over your character's body
Still in very early access, but promising
As the dev has stated, this is certainly an early access game, but enjoyable thus far. There is a ton of room for growth and I appreciate that the dev has been attentive and listening to us players whilst making updates when he can. I look forward to watching this game grow.
keeping in mind this game is still in the early stages of EA so there is very little in the way of content, although from what I've seen so far its going to be a very fun game. Basically the only area available is the starting area, you have 3 other NPC's in your gang, but your pathetically weak and new outfits and weapons are pretty expensive, once you leave your apartment there is a chest you can loot that has some basic stuff in it, so your not completely without a way to defend yourself. Get used to the fact that 60%-70% of the fights you get into will end with your gang being wiped out, so save your game every chance you get. It kind of reminds me of an AVN more than anything else. According to the roadmap and info given by the Dev, they are working towards putting out new content every month and hopefully bug fixes as well, but we will have to see if that remains true. If the Dev can stay true to their promise and put out new content as well as polishing and balancing the game then yes this game is more than worth the price. Oh and a couple other things, you can play in 1st or 3rd person but that's only for moving around, fights are turn based and a top down view, so if your good with that then you'll enjoy the game.
I like the style and played briefly to sample the gameplay so far. Its got some good bones so im eager to see how this game evolves. Its shaping up to be an awesome project from what ive seen so far. You got my support.
This game's iteration of 'early access' definitely feels more like a demo, but I knew that going in and I'm enjoying it. I haven't had any game crashes or any substantial bugs. I've spotted two typos, which (as someone who writes for a living) is almost nothing coming from a solo developer. I'm intrigued by the worldbuilding and am eager to know more. I didn't think that I'd enjoy the turn-based combat as much as I am. And though I'm admittedly not the primary target audience for the intimate scenes (definitely hopeful that not every option is a woman), there are three encounters thus far and I'm impressed by how they're rendered and written. Thus far, there aren't really vampires in the game (barring one of those encounters) but plenty of syndicate, gangs, and Moonfall, so it's living up to its name. I hope that it lives up to its potential.
TLDR; Great game so far, but ACTIVELY under development. Game dev is very involved, but tis not even close to finished. This is not a game for you if you want the final product, wait another year. I recommend it, because I enjoy being able to help and shape games with so much potential. I did not know this was an adult game before I got it, and there is the ability to censor/avoid adult-related content. I saw a snippet a while back about this game and some spoilers in relation to the fighting/more cinematic elements so don't think its only about getting your groove on (for now, no idea what the future holds, but you can avoid it with no penalty to the story/gameplay at this point). The gameplay is interesting, and hearkens back to the days of hex fighting. The story is actually incredibly interesting and flows pretty well. Theres a lot of growth potential and a ton of lore so far, even though you could consider this the intro to the game (as of right now, there are 90 day plans out already from the Dev and he is very active with the community and takes feedback seriously). The game is far from perfect, but it is still fun. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for it.
very very rought around the edges still, but the one quest already released shows that the dev understands how this type of game should be made. The current state of the game is essentially a 2 hour long "demo?" If the author adds several more hours of story with similar quality aswell as lifts the overall graphical quality from sometimes pretty bad to at least accceptable. Currently there is inconsistent details in levels, white walls, weird lights... I hope in the end it will be omething that looks less like a gmod map and more like a game. Then I think this will be very fun to play. The turn based combat is extremely basic, like REALLY REALLY BASIC. Adding some more depth to it would go a long way! If not then oh well this will likely already be somewhat worth it for the story alone.
