Well, it seems my thoughts will keep changing throughout the game. So, as if everyone is waiting for my very eye-opening take, I decided to write my review now and update it as I go. I normally do not enjoy visual novels at all, but since reviews were overwhelmingly positive, I didn't want to miss out on the story. Still, before starting the game, I asked AI over and over again for assurance that it wouldn't have any cringey teenager drama, cheesy romance, overly sticky relationships, cheap melodrama, pity parties, or trauma bonding and it kept assuring me that it didn't. • Almost 3 hours in, and I couldn't connect with the characters (except Mark and his dumb jokes). It felt too cliche, and some characters were just unbearable to me. The phone parts, having to wait through entire sequences without being able to skip faster or just close the phone when you want are kind of meh, so I've just been spamming the space bar to get through them. That was until the anon chat. I see that something much more beautiful is on the way and hopefully from that point I will actually start to enjoy the game.

Comprei esse jogo depois de ver um amigo jogando e ler bem por cima algumas reviews, mas sinceramente não esperava que ele fosse significar tanto pra mim. Não tem um personagem ruim nesse jogo. Todos são excelentes e têm seu momento na história. A trilha sonora, os minigames, os diálogos... tudo parece ter sido feito com muito carinho. O jogo passa muitas mensagens que com certeza vou levar comigo. É um dos jogos em que mais senti a "alma" dele. Tudo é tão vivo, tão real, que em vários momentos eu simplesmente esqueci que estava jogando alguma coisa. Com certeza foi um dos jogos com que mais me emocionei. E aquela pegadinha que os safados dos desenvolvedores colocaram no final...... sem comentários. Vou direto pra DLC agora. É isso. Se você gosta de VN, faça um favor pra si mesmo e jogue essa masterpiece.

Nunca jamás en mi vida había dejado una reseña en un juego. He jugado cientos, o incluso miles, de horas a distintos juegos, pero este es el primero que realmente me dan ganas de reseñar. Nunca había jugado un juego que me hiciera sentir tantas cosas a la vez. Me enojé, lloré, me emocioné e incluso quedé confundido en muchas partes de la historia. Es un viaje completo de emociones. Tiene una historia muy única, con un mensaje bastante profundo. Vivimos distintas situaciones que nos hacen reflexionar mucho. Cuenta con un gran desarrollo de personajes y una banda sonora espectacular, que cumple perfectamente su trabajo de envolverte en cada escena. Este no es un juego con un gameplay sobresaliente, pero en el apartado narrativo es de lo mejor que vas a encontrar. Si lo ves en descuento, como me pasó a mí, no dudes en comprarlo. Es una compra de la que nunca te vas a arrepentir.

Charming game. I've especially liked the art style and the combination of custom gameplay mechanics with visual novel format. The story was really good, although [spoiler] I refuse to play or acknowledge endings beside the first, original one. It was a perfect mix of emotions and conclusions [/spoiler] . Works well on the Steam Deck. I've had some troubles with controls, but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed.
