Unsolved Case: Murderous Script Collector's Edition

Я люблю point & click игры, но в этой игре мне было откровенно скучно и хотелось поскорее ее закончить. Бонусную главу желания проходить уже не возникло вовсе и я просто дропнула игру. Покупала на распродаже, поэтому большого разочарования не испытала, но вряд ли куплю продолжение из этой серии в будущем.

Although the game wasn't a super hit, it was entertaining enough to play it through. Just as the first one, it has multiple chapters or cases to solve. It's a nice way of keeping the game fresh and making it seem like a lengthier game than it actually is. This also means that hidden object scenes won't get recycled or reused since the scenes are completely different areas. There was one particular find the difference puzzle I wasn't too fond of. I would say, if you have any colorblindness- it's a nightmare. The puzzles, in general, weren't too challenging, they were somewhat balanced. Although some seasoned players may find a few of the puzzles a tad bit easy. As for myself, I found one or two a b0orderlining on too challenging or tedious but it might've been a me thing and not a puzzle thing. The bonus chapter had some puzzles that made me feel frustrated but weren't impossible. Just a lot of moving around or repetition which, to me, is not so much a challenge as it is a nuisance. The story also felt a bit flat for a bonus chapter. I could've skipped it and I don't feel I would've missed much. Normally these serve to give some background or more of the story but it just didn't hit home. Me being nitpicky- There were a few errors in the subtitles when compared to the spoken dialogue. Nothing that affects gameplay but still something of note. Overall it's an ok game. Preferably purchase at a good discounted price and not too close to full price. As with most Domini games from the 2020's, it has a DLC to unlock the full game which I do not support nor approve of. Especially when marketing it as a "collector's edition" Paying $3 dollars more to get the full game seems greedy and insulting to the player, but that’s just me. If you do plan to keep playing the serious, this is a game I'd recommend playing before jumping into the next one since it does have story continuity. yes i would recommend this game to other players it is good

C’est un bon jeu, pas parfait mais un bon jeu. • Les enquêtes sont sympas et pour une fois nous avons un héros (j’écris cela car je n’ai fait que des jeux de « point & Click » / objets cachés avec des protagonistes féminins et je commençais à en avoir un peu marre) ; • On peut sentir un lien entre les différents chapitres mais je trouve que cela n’a pas été assez exploité surtout avec le chapitre bonus ; • J’aurai aimé avoir de « vrais » choix ayant un impact sur l’histoire autre qu’être bloqué dans ma progression ; • Les petites animations sont sympas et donnent du rythme, par contre les animations des visages lors des dialogues ne sont vraiment pas belles ; • La D.A et les différents tableaux sont plutôt beaux ; • La musique est sympa ; • J'ai eu un bug à la fin du chapitre 1, cela s'est débloqué après l’avoir refait et dans le chapitre, il manque un morceau de dialogue non sous-titré (peut-être un problème dans la traduction). J’ai passé un bon moment sur le jeu et je verrais bien toute une série avec tous ces personnages et les développer un peu. Bon jeu !

This is average on the Mountain Crime Requital scale. I'd get it in a sale, perhaps. This is a clear phone app --> pc game conversion and the format doesn't translate quite as well as one would hope. The episodes happen so quickly, and from what I've learned, there are some things that are missing from the PC version as well, which is unfortunate. The game does feel like it's overstaying it's welcome after a while, and some of the HOPs that had clues really don't read as well as the devs think, and can be kind of silly. I'd recommend getting this at a sale and playing perhaps a little bit at a time, overall a pretty average HOG, with decent voice acting (I find the animations a little stiff and uncanny at points).
