Unrooted is a vibrant and eye-catching precision platformer with lush environments and a stunning musical score. Take up your courage and squash your fear of heights. Travel upwards to lands no sapling has dared to explore before. But heed with caution, the higher you journey, the more you risk.

Game is beautiful but the movement doesn't feel correct and fluid, which is way more important for a precision platformer. I love difficult platformers but when the difficulty comes from the fact you don't know how your character is going to respond to an input, that's when I check out. If it does get improved I'll switch it from a negative review to a positive and play again.
There are so many glitches, the mechanics are unforgiving and inconsistent, the background and foreground are not always distinguished well (if intended I hate you, and you deserve nothing but wet french fries for the rest of eternity), the fact that you can't remove the conversation bubbles that COVER YOUR ARROW is inexcusable, there are not words that I can use to describe how unfinished this game is. I bought it 8 months ago, and I came back to play again hoping that there would be improvements... There was none. The dev just dumped this game and forgot about it. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!
I have just finished the game and I really enjoyed the journey. The game is very punishing, more than Jump King, but it did a good job at making the jumps feel addicting, making it fun to climb back up and feel rewarded at how much you have improved. On top of that, the art and music were just beautiful, making the game a pleasure to play. If you're up for the challenge, I strongly recommend this game.
Beautiful art direction- horrible and unplaytested mess, lots of obnoxious game design. i wouldnt recommend this to non streamers
its kinda like the dark souls of smite
I hope that good fortune awaits at the end of suffering, but sometimes suffering ends in emptiness.
softlocked in area 5
Great game if you like the first section. =]
Dev abandonned the game. Soft lock are still present. It use the version of unity with the security vulnerability and they didn't fix it. About the game, its can be hard to distinguish between foreground and background, most of the falls are too punishing, aiming has a small delay when clicking. It's pretty and has good audio, but the gameplay or level design still need fixing.
