Unluckily in Love

Probably just not for me but the story was a little boring, I ended up just spamming through a majority of it because I just couldn't get interested in it.

I absolutely adore Tavi and Yuel and have played every game with them in it so far. My natural personality is very similar to Yuel's except I'm not as self-loathing as he is, so I can really put myself in his shoes when I'm playing these games. They completely send me on a roller coaster ride of emotions, and I love every minute of it. This particular game is one of my favorites. The art is top tier in my opinion, and the story really focuses on the feelings of isolation and acceptance. Being that the pair are cousins, there's some of that "I shouldn't but I can't help it" thing, but it can also be read as someone raised in a homophobic home coming to terms with their feelings towards someone of the same gender. I can imagine a lot of people who would enjoy this game for that aspect alone. Tavi always does his best to make Yuel feel loved and accepted despite the surly attitude he has, and he has no problem giving the emotional and physical attention Yuel so desperately needs. Tavi just laughs away Yuel's more acerbic comments and continues on like nothing happened. This game is cathartic for me, since I was raised in a so-called "Christian" home and was denied who I was for many years. My mom finally just went "You are who you are and I love you regardless." Jesus said he hates figs, guys! If anyone else needs some affirmation, there's an amazing documentary that changed my life called Fish Out of Water. The narrator explains the true meaning of the words used in the Christian Bible and where and why the words were changed to what is used today.

Yuel and Tavi are so cute. Yuel can barely communicate what he wants, but Tavi will do his darndest to give it to him, regardless. If you like opposites that bicker but love each other, I'd recommend this game. I'm really happy that there are other Yuel and Tavi visual novels to play, too. The dynamic is chef's kiss. The new bonus content is super cute, too!

edited to be less emotionally charged i'm not very far in but in my opinion, tavi is kind of rude and inconsiderate. i know nothing about these characters, though they seem to have established lore, based on what others have said, but introducing tavi as someone who smokes indoors, comments on waitstaffs' asses, and is like "i'm just a free spirit" personally leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. the waitstaff in question is already clearly having a bad night and the fact that he doesn't respect them as people is a major turn-off for me. maybe he gets better later, but right now, he's clearly supposed to be the kind of character who breaks the rules and gets yuel to loosen up from being so tight-laced or whatever. to me, he's not the cool, suave playboy badboy, he's rude and disrespectful and it's not for me. so far, the writing has been good, as well as the art, which is fantastic, i just don't like this character we're supposed to like as the romantic interest

Ainda não terminei, achei o jogo muito bom, bem bonitinho e fofo, só queria que tivesse escolhas kk, tirando isso o jogo é perfeito vale muito a pena, os personagens são lindos e os cenários também, ele é muito bem feito

yuel is so cutie

Thoroughly delightful, smutty (with patch) BL visual novel. The build-up is slow, but not frustratingly so, and I liked the characters a lot. I like how easy it is to replay chapters, including the smut. It also makes my freaky little heart very happy that Yuel is a masochist. The bonus story was excellent and answered a need I did not know I had - namely, the need to see an adorably tsundere Arab twink with cat ears, getting railed in a maid costume by his cousin.
