Note: the game is still in Early Access Unleash is a very good Tower Defense game. The game has 3 play modes: TowerWars (here you play against other gamers) TowerDefense (Classic TD, battle against waves of monsters) and a sandbox mode (it's a kind of free mode, where you can test everything like the weapons and the monsters) (there probably will be a campaign mode too, which would be very nice if the devs will add it) The game has a good tutorial, here you can learn the basics of the game. Unleash has a lot of options for a multiplayer game, you can join a game or host your own game. I didn't test all the multiplayer options, because I prefer single player games. The nicest thing about this game, you can choose to play against bots in the multiplayer games, so you don't have to compete against real people. In a multiplayer game (2 players) you have to switch between 2 screens. One screen is where you built your towers to defend your area against the monsters from the enemy. On the second screen you have to spawn your monsters to test the defenses of your enemy. A multiplayer game can be up to 8 players. There also is enough content for single players too. The monster spawn from a big hole at the top of the screen. You have to build a lot of walls to influence the path where the monsters will walk (best done in a maze). Walls and towers can be destroyed by enemies, so you have to rebuild them sometimes. Towers can be placed on walls. To use a new weapon or a new monster, you have to research them. All monsters, walls and towers can be upgraded. Of course you have a limited amount of money. You can zoom in and out and rotate the camera. There are many many options in this game, while it is still in early access. If you love Tower Defense games, you should pick this one up For the amount of gameplay you get in this game, the game is well priced. I would give it an 8 out of 10 For me none of the achievements did unlock (maybe it is a bug). Good strategy game! In the future Dreamers have the ability to materialize the monsters. Battle with summoned monsters. Each tower has three upgrade levels. Each monster has four upgrade levels. Single and multiplayer matches. Very enjoyable game. The fast paced gameplay coupled with charming visuals means Unleash is a great strategy game for those looking for that quick adrenaline fix.
This game looks amazing, online multiplayer, great graphics, tons of options, whoo hoooo! If you like good tower defense games, you'll prolly just wanna stop thinking about it and just smack that "BUY" button and thank me later! Here's my first look video, but expect a full review in the near future after I get some good time to give it a really good look.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn1j26B0iGY&feature=youtu.be I want to thank the developer(s) for offering me a free evaluation key to this game, however free keys never change my opinion or score on any game. This one just looks really good!
A really great game for tower defense fans. I dont think ive played an game of this genre quite like it. I put the full review in the video because I hate to type. I played through the tutorial and one full round against the AI in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCYtcYTOCbA
Caught a youtube review of this upcoming TD game & was fortunate enough to get into late beta testing less than a week ago. The game is well polished & developers were on hand to address any concerns. The graphics & sound are awesome! The game-play is smooth, fun & energizing. Alot to do in single player mode & more to come. The multiplayer is quite challenging & there was generally a developer ready to play. Sandbox mode allows you do most everything & familiarize yourself with all the monsters, defenses & build a massive structure to fend off the most heinous of late game creatures. Saw some twitch gameplay & was awed at the complex activity of multiple defensive/offensive strategies within one game. A fabulous deal at the discounted price!!

Follow The Cpt Froggy Club Curator Page for plenty more!
Unleash: ~~~~~~~ Ladies and Gentlemen, be prepared for the amazing wave of monsters /aliens that will come at you! You must prepare your defences and lead the enemies through your own design maze. As soon as the black hole appears there will be no return, and it will come down to your tactics and design to repel the wave of monsters that has been unleashed on you! Unleash is an action / tower defence / strategy game where you design your own maze to eliminate incoming waves of enemies and win a stage. The game offers three modes of play, a tutorial and a scenario editor. The campaign mode consists of 12 missions at this stage (the game is currently on early access) which become progressively harder as you go along. You can also play against other users online (up to 8) or bots (which have three levels of difficulty) if you can’t find an online game. There are three servers for you to choose from for this mode which are in Europe, USA and Asia. The sandbox mode will give you access to all enemies and is pretty good if you want to practice your designing skills. When you finish, just send as many creatures as possible into your maze and see how good your design is. The scenario editor is simple to use. The gameplay is a little bit different to what I was expecting. In most tower defences games, maps have specific paths already allocated. It usually shows you in which position you can place your turrets. Well, in Unleash you must create your own path (maze) with walls and 13 different turrets available to you. I must say that if you decide to play the campaign mode, the maximum available towers will only be four per mission. Each of the towers has three upgrades which will cost a certain number of coins, and time as well. Most of the structures will take around 5 to 10 seconds to build or upgrade and it can be a struggle when you have several enemy waves coming at you rapidly! Which structure will you upgrade to the next level, or will choose you keep building your maze? That is a tough question. I am sure you’ll figure it out . . . eventually! At the start of each of your games, you’ll have a certain number of coins at your disposal to start your defences. Each time you kill an enemy it will give you extra coins, but not too many. You’ll receive extra coins each time a new wave is launched towards your defences. The more waves you manage to repel, the more coins you’ll receive – and thank God for that! I really like the variety of enemies you play against in this early access version. From fast, strange-legged creatures to slow, burning golems; from massive slimy monsters to some sort of flying frogs that spit on your defences. It’s true – it’s great stuff! There are another two updates which are planned soon with new monsters, map editor, new towers and other features. The graphics look good and I really like the sounds effects too. The interface is straight forward and easy to use. I did experience a few bugs here and there, but nothing drastic. I must say that I couldn’t find an online game at this stage. Positives: ~~~~~~~ + Nice graphics + Several modes of play including online + Fun, fast and challenging, especially on the hard difficulty + Fun turrets and enemies + Achievement & trading cards Negatives: ~~~~~~~~ - A few bugs here and there - Difficult to find an online game Design your maze and defences and see how you go when the enemies are Unleashed upon you! 7/10 Key provided by developer/publisher for review purposes. Competitive, strategic, professional in excecution. This game will be BIG. I had trouble sleeping, thinking about base patterns + attack combos...." Pros + - Clean, professional presenttion - Lots of varied towers, and a real need and use for each one to counter certain attacks -Lots of varied attack monsters, including ones that do damage, jump over walls, fly, and even explode! - Competitive Multiplayer - Lots of great single player challeneges, with a community leaderboard - Lots of planned future content, all free, and guided by the community - Nice, helpful, welcoming community of players (I Have lots more to say, and will come back and update when I am not so busy playing the game obsessively!)
Had the game for near a month or so, I'd say. 8/10. It scratches every itch I have for the genre. +Constructing your base to defend your lane has a lot of strategy to it. +Art is colorful and unique. +Smooth. +Thoughtful and active Devs. +Fun and easy to learn as long as you play the scenarios to get aquainted with the game. -Need more scenarios. Maybe an endless challange mode? -Needs more players. Have to use the Discord to get a game as of the time of this review. Would absolutely recommend.
*Multiplayer servers are desert.* Devs should play their own game for a while or give some free keys to who buys the game because there is no one playing at present and AI is too easy and boring. I'll refund the game in 10 days unless i find a player online for a 1v1 or the devs give me some keys to play it with some friends who are not rly into this kind of games to spend 7£ on an alpha. The game is great tho, just i am not paying 7£ to play against AI, for that I can play plants vs zombies and many others tower defense games.
