Unit Down

A fun blast to jump into for 20 minutes at a time, trying to get as far as you can shooting and building up your character's stats to attack the boss. Definitely not easy, but quick enough that starting from the beginning again when you die isn't too bad.

Very fun and exciting game! If you're down for a short arcade-like shooter, then this is a good pick! There's a tetris upgrade system that's a little too random for me but the gameplay and story is still pretty solid to keep me interested. Go for the secret boss!

hands down great game, lovely cast of quirky character reminiscent of star fox. the game is fun and great to sit down and blast through. its good simple arcade style gameplay and bosses trust me that after few minutes that old nostalgia game era feel will flood back. There is also a proper storyline and its not just simple levels.

A very challenging game. Each time you play you get THAT much further until you actually manage to make it to earth.

Clearly made with a lot of passion, Unit Down is a strong reminder of why games like Star Fox 2 deserve more attention. The Roguelike elements combined with third-person shooter elements creates a truly rare experience that, when combined with the interesting story and fantastic voice acting, results in a game truly worth your time and multiple playthroughs. The controller support is a bit lacking, but fiddling with the sensitivity of the joystick fixes it well enough unless you're willing to use a mouse and keyboard as the dev intended.

It is a fun arcade game, reminiscent of the 80's and 90's arcade and animation style, when 3D was turning into gold. The gameplay which gives the illusion of a simple and easy game, but when difficulty starts to ramp it up QUICKLY, you feel every attack hitting like a truck and harder to manage the planets, which keeps you moving around and not 'farming'. Voice acting is crystal clear and very well done, which surprised me since I wasn't expecting it, which suits the characters as they pose and act and talk, really a gem for those nostalgic for that era. It isn't a hugely long game to finish, but fun to going back and shoot stuff especially when you unlock new drones by in game achievements. Worth the money, and hope it gets further update and polishment.

This game is really fun! For a somewhat small experience it has a lot of replay value. The stages are pretty hard to put down once you get into one. I enjoyed the upgrade system and practicing to get better at dodging the attacks of regular enemies and bosses.

Unit Down is a fun game that combines strategy and fast paced action! Something that is always a win for me is a game with likeable, colorful characters as it makes the story and gameplay more dynamic. Totally recommend!

its a really good game i love the arcade type shooter and the art for the game phenomenal but the only thing i have wrong with the games is the models textures are flat ik its like this there first game i think i hope the next game there making updated graphics nothing to out the water just a small change is what i'm hoping for.
