I am having such a good time playing this game! <3 It has twitch integration, so chat can participate too! They can spot anomalies, and mess with the streamer in many ways. Anomalies, and jumpscares go hand in hand, and it scared my sick friend so much it cleared her clogged nose HAHA xD It's kinda a mix of "im on observation duty" and "five nights at freddys".. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Game is creepy as ♥♥♥♥. Almost ♥♥♥♥ myself when I looked down near my characters feet and saw the little ♥♥♥♥♥ staring at me. Got me sweating bullets. Great game though! Worth the money!
been playing this game since release and I must say this is an amazing anomaly game! It has the greatest suspense in scare factor. I am so determined to pass this game completely. I will leave a link to my gameplay if anyone is interested in watching :) https://youtu.be/2KzYntthsjg?si=Px4qwlvXw0nyJQf1
Insane gut umgesetztes Anomalie Suchspiel. Die Demo war schon geil aber das komplette Game hat nochmal gut angezogen. Supergute Twitch Integration (Wirkjlich eines der geilsten Games aktuell dafür), großer Fan und freu mich schon auf die neuen Level! <3
Overall, I thought this game was incredible. While I would have preferred if it didn’t use AI-generated art—since it can sometimes break immersion—it wasn’t implemented aggressively enough to be a major issue. The atmosphere inside the van is fantastic, and the sound design does an excellent job of serving both as gameplay audio cues and as a way to enhance the suspense. The dynamic between the observation mechanic and the veiled woman was particularly well-executed, striking a solid balance between searching for anomalies and defending against her. That said, the learning curve felt far too steep. An interactive tutorial that gradually introduces each gameplay mechanic—allowing the player to master one element before moving on to the next—would be a huge improvement. Even on easy mode, the first night throws too much at the player all at once, and the second level is even more overwhelming in this regard. Some anomalies were also difficult to spot, even after reviewing the end-of-level photos. The kitchen drawer, in particular, was frustratingly subtle. Additionally, the number of anomalies required to fail a level felt way too unforgiving. There were times when I had only missed two small changes, but then a single medium-sized one pushed me over the edge. Despite these frustrations, this is still a great game, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Observation Duty-style experiences!
Great game, I cannot comment on the entities though as I haven't done any nightmare runs successfully yet. However, as a sanctuary player currently, I love the game. Graphics, UI, sounds and interactivity in general is really good. It's very clear this game has been well thought out. If I could change something about the game, I'd like to see the option to play any map/entity on sanctuary without requiring it to be unlocked with nightmare runs. So if you want to just chill on sanctuary, you can choose any map/entity or even unlock them progressively but nightmare and inferno modes would remain locked until you unlock those progressively as well. I'd also like to see some kind of 2 player co-op functionality, this could be in the form of maybe increasing the frequency of events and/or have each player monitor different rooms (say player 1 monitors room 1-3 and player 2 monitors room 3-5) and have a dual screen and dialler setup in a bigger van (or even a truck). I'll update my review again when I have more hours and hopefully can comment on the entities after I brave the nightmare runs. Update: I have done the veiled woman and the priest on nightmare, I really enjoyed those. Pretty good once you understand what you need to do. The spider is definitely a lot more relaxed compared to when Insym streamed it. The smiling man was also really chill. Overall, it is definitely challenging to manage anomalies and keep a look out for entities whilst also making sure you don't run out of power. I love this game and cannot wait to see if they release new cases into the game.
Großes Potential! Schon etwas süchtig machend Mehr Maps sind nötig, das spiel ließ sich nach einigen Stunden durchspielen
Its a great Game and if you speak english you will meet cool People (of course if you are a streamer) in your Chat
Another 'spot the difference' game. But instead of copying the formula from the well known Observation Duty series, UNHEIM actually shows innovation. The reporting system is unique and there are horror elements that require you to stay away of your surroundings. And, upon losing a round, you get strong feedback to indicate what it was you were missing. Unlike other games in the genre which just give you a vague sense of the type of anomaly you missed. And, finally, the Twitch integration lets chat participate, compete, help and hinder. The pacing feels better than the games in the genre. After becoming familiar with a level, other similar games often leave the player feeling paranoid that they are missing something and then impatient when they realize the anomalies just come by slow. UNHEIM is more forgiving in its reporting system and letting you know what you missed, but less forgiving in the time it gives you to report. This makes it feel like there's always something to do. Especially when you have to stay on your toes to avoid being attacked inside your observation room. In the Observation Duty series, I'd often make several false reports just to get more real anomalies going. UNHEIM doesn't have that slow feel and also has more difficulty settings. I really hope to see this catch on, it's a great watch on Twitch with the integration system, but at the time of writing this review it's hard to catch someone streaming it.
Ich finde das Spiel sehr spannend und gut gemacht würde es daher auch weiter empfehlen
