If you’re into metroidvanias with gorgeous pixel art and that addicting feeling of exploration, this game is an absolute must-play. You can tell right away this was made with a lot of passion and love for the genre. The map is super interconnected, full of secrets, upgrades, and that amazing “just one more area” vibe. The soundtrack deserves a shoutout too — it fits the atmosphere perfectly and keeps you immersed the whole time. Combat feels super responsive, fast, and satisfying. It gives you that rewarding feeling once you start learning enemy patterns and mastering the mechanics. Plus, there’s a cool talent system that lets you customize your playstyle — whether you prefer magic, raw damage, or something in between. Another huge plus is the developer. Super active, listens to the community, and pushes updates really fast to balance and improve the game. That alone makes a big difference. So... is it worth it? Absolutely. If you’re a fan of Hollow Knight, Axiom Verge, Ender Lilies, or any classic metroidvania, get ready — this one is a hidden gem that deserves way more attention. And the price? Super fair for how much quality and content it delivers. It’s one of those games you feel proud to support. Made with love — and you can feel it in every detail. Highly recommended!
EDIT: The below review of the game is based "Expert Mode", which, while my review still stands, I will add that the degree to which these things matter is drastically increased on expert mode. I think that expert mode is unplayable presently and is not balanced given the weaknesses listed below. It's almost impossible to not get hit in this game and the damage scaling and lack of resources make expert mode feel very bad to play. As mentioned elsewhere, it doesn't feel good to get hit a ton yet there is little to do (at least early game) to ensure that you don't. I started a new playthrough on standard mode and haven't broken a sweat on any of the things that were giving me trouble in expert mode. ------------------------------------------------ I wanted to love this game since it has so many elements that I typically enjoy. I have to say, though.I find the platforming controls to be very frustrating. First of all the knock back inflicted is not enough to compensate for almost all enemy advancement. meaning you have to slash and move often. The down side with this is that when you attack you are locked into place rendered unable to move. Another thing I found frustrating is that you can only hit one enemy at a time. meaning if there are multiple enemies advancing on you simultaneously and you attack to create room, what little knockback you do have only goes to one enemy - AND i have found that it's not necessarily the closest enemy to you. Your consumables are non-replenishing on death, meaning if you use your potions during a boss fight and die, you won't have them on your second attempt. Also, if you get stuck on a boss and you're out of resources, well, tough luck. I am usually fine with difficult situations in games "git gud or you can't advance", but the execution of this one lands too far into frustrating territory for me. I want to git gud at mechanics that feel fluid and fun the better I get at them, i don't see the fun in mastering mechanics that don't feel good. Also a minor point, but the dynamic jump physics don't feel natural. it's a real shame - I was very excited to play this. I hope that some of the things I list above get addressed in future patches, because I absolutely would pick this game back up if it had controls that felt good like axiom verge or 9 sols or environment alpha or dead cells or hollow knight, etc etc etc
Fun game. Definitely worth the price.
Fun game. nice pixel art and cool biomes. Plenty of weapons and an interesting talent system. Lots to explore.
Undivine is a metroidvania with souls-like elements game developed by Wendeeo, a solo developer. You're drawn to a gaping chasm from which nobody returns upon taking the dive. From there, it's up to you to discover just what is going on in this game. You're given breadcrumbs of story as you explore the world and speak with people. What interested me the most was the music. It's really good, very atmospheric and gets you in the mood. Additionally, I found it rather peculiar that the game never gave you a double jump ability. Instead, it gives you dash, wall climb and gliding for mobility. Not something you usually see in this type of games, and a welcome break from the trend. The graphics are okay. Pixel art that does the job of showing up just who are you facing and interacting with, although I feel it clashes with the music, which is not 8-bit. That said, while overall I enjoyed the game, I felt it leaned a bit on the easy side when things progressed. Additionally, the experience was marred by a few bugs, although they were more annoying and confusion-inducing than outright infuriating. They made me feel deja vu, a feeling of "didn't I do this already?", "hadn't I grabbed this item already?", that kind of feeling. They were not game breaking, but they made me doubt my own progress at times. Hopefully the dev will fix them! Overall, it was nice. Not mindblowing, but it scratched the metroidvania itch for a while.

This is good, but german translation would be great
