By far one of my top favorite games, and has been for a few years now; it's very nostalgic to come back to every now and again. It's a fairly simple, fun side-scrolling platformer with charming pixel graphics, an interesting story, and a fair share of mysteries, secrets, and silliness. The combat is interesting, with a secondary "rhythm" mechanic that rewards you with a critical hit if you attack on beat. Tricky to use, but rewarding when you manage it. Each area is different, with its own themes, host of enemies, bosses, and environmental gimmicks. Nothing ever quiet feels the same, keeping the adventure feeling fresh to the very end. It has its difficulties and challenges, but it's still a cozy and exciting game to play through Underhero is a massively underrated game, in my opinion, and I heavily recommend it to anyone who's into these silly little rpg games or may be curious what it has to offer. I hope that one day we get to see the story continued
This game is incredibly well polished. I loved every second of it, and am so sad to have finished it.
