Its fun all just seems a little pointless (maybe thats the point) Thirty six hours so I'll post a positive review but I feel it was a missed opportunity.
Quite a cool game, took a little to understand the controls but having a lot of fun looting and shooting. Kia kaha!

... Bought this game a couple of years ago after liking the aesthetic and combat mechanics for a Turn Based Survival game. I had my fears about many of the problems i dealt with when playing Early Access were going to be on the 1.0 release . It was solved immediately after playing the full release version of Undeadly. The quickness and fluidity with the different survivors and zombies made me love the game more. Now I can search through kitchens and toilets much faster then early access finding anything and I mean ANYTHING for turning into scrap. Only to build up your base making facilities such as a armory for weapons and ammo a medical center for healing and making medications or a Library for acquiring skills to use on your survivors. There are some annoyances I had like the names of the survivors overlapping with scavenging a box of freezer and having to use right click as a means to move. But it's a much better version then Early Access plus it's on sale. Did a small video about Undeadly if people want to check it out https://youtu.be/3uTMI91tdOI Beforehand I said I bought this game for $20 during Early Access an back then it was pretty rough with barely much to do and beings it's a single guy from New Zealand. It's nice to see more indie games getting true polish before release only to show how fun they can be.
Edit: I'm changing my review to a negative now that it is apparent no more updates are coming to address the bugs and optimizations needed for this game. No updates have come in almost a year, and the Steam discussion forums have threads that are long not responded as well. That leads me to believe the developers have moved on. Original review: This is more of a neutral rating at the moment. The game has a LOT there right now, but the interface is all a bit... difficult to navigate. It's hard to say exactly what as just about all menus and navigation could stand some love and care. You find yourself fighting the interface to do things just as often as the hordes of zombies. I think with some quality of life (QoL) updates to that portion of the game, I'll give it a strong recommend. For now though, you probably want to avoid picking the game up if that sort of things frustrates you. I grew up in the 80's so I lived through brutally difficult games to navigate around in, and thus, will be setting this game down and coming back to it after some updates. I don't need to relive that portion of my childhood again. But I do look forward to playing it some more down the road.
To many bugs, when storm comes, "world changing" scene cause some errors to hang the game.
Pure sandbox, don't look for more unless devs going all surprise mofz. Had quite some fun for the first 30 hours despise some boring bugs but nothing gamebreaking, so would recommend.
Almost a year since the last update
