Could have been Dwarf Fortress IN SPAAAAAAAAACE, but is instead abandonware. Don't get fooled.
A very promising game that can repeat the success of Rim World if development continues

bueno
When I first looked at Unclaimed World, I was puzzled by how many players seemed unable to complete its early levels. After playing it myself, I understand why. The first tutorial actually started off well. I was beginning to enjoy the atmosphere and was even getting used to the unusual system for directing characters to gather, move, and perform tasks. It felt quirky, but workable. Then I moved on to Tutorial 2 and that’s where everything fell apart. The moment the tutorial starts, you’re already on an invisible timer. The game doesn’t tell you this until you’re well into the scenario, at which point you’ve already lost too much time to succeed. Even when restarting with the new knowledge, the timing is extremely tight, to the point where it stops feeling like a tutorial and starts feeling like a punishment. It’s hard enough trying to learn a complex control system without racing a hidden countdown. A tutorial should teach, guide, and let players practice. This one fails on all three counts. Because of that, I simply cannot recommend the game.
