About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

I loved when at the end they all looked at each other and said we truly were unbeatable and then the credits rolled
First off, this game is admittedly quite flawed and janky in a lot of the gameplay sequences and mechanics, as a lot of comments have pointed out, and the pacing is a bit of a mess but hot damn is this a one of a kind experience and it's a story I'll never forget despite it's flaws. One of if not the most key thing to a rhythm game is the music, and this ♥♥♥♥ is just phenomenal to me, I've already put a bunch of songs into my own playlists cause it's just straight heat they cooked up. The art style and character designs are just chef's kiss and I loved seeing all the little in-game animations. The characters themselves are all very fitting and likeable though the time spent exploring them is admittedly quite limited (a big part of that being due to the game having pacing issues). I feel like most of the voice actors did a great job at portraying them though and despite the pacing those performances brought a lot of charm to the writing and genuinity to the performances . The overall story is a strange anime inspired semi-apocalyptic tale of a dystopian footloose-afied society that has it's ups and downs, but most notably it has one of the best finales I've ever experienced from any piece of media, with the entire ending chapter being a masterclass of emotion and metanarrative storytelling that really touches home for anyone wishing to pursue art or even just anyone with a profound love for art. In a time where the world is getting flooded with A.I. and where everything has been commandeered into a business, this messy yet genuine love letter to creating art is a breath of fresh air that beautifully shows the importance of a human's hand in creating things. Art is the culmination and expression of people's beliefs, personal experiences, hopes and dreams, and an extension of the things they truly care about and I hope we continue to see people express these things in the most human way possible, man-made ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ art. Even if they're riddled with imperfections and human error, that human touch is what gives these things value and no corporate big-wigs or computer programs can ever fully recreate that. Long live Art and long live D-CELL~

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cinema
the story and the soundtrack resonate with me in a way that i've never felt before. overall, 10/10, made me cry.
It's amazing, and the story is adorable
This is true art PLEASE play this the whole way through, the ending is incredible and although the game seems messy, I can't help but think it's 100% intentional because true art is imperfect
That game is way better than i tought. story is realy good gameplay is nice. very refreshing
it's... janky. and odd. but effusive, and fun.
I want to come up with a lot of words to describe what I feel about Unbeatable. Really, I do. But I struggle to have words to say that don't end up spoiling the excellent story mode that isn't self evident from trailers alone. It's flashy. It's gorgeous. It sounds great and plays even better. It has minigames that you would find in an old PS2 RPG that suck complete ass due to the friction to give out. It is the best year of 2025. It is the best game of 2026, the year i actually played it. I don't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play rhythm games normally. So do yourself a favor. Even if you are absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at rhythm games, give Unbeatable a try. It will be an experience you will forever think about.
