About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.
**if this was 1999 this section would be called "party like it's now"
FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Gonna stay with me for a bit
This game deserves to be bought at full price. Stellar writing, smooth gameplay, magnificent art direction, and punk as hell. Let alone the killer sound design and Astonishing tracks. What more could you want?
If you are passionate about anything in the creative arts, you gotta try this game out. Plenty of rough edges and the pacing with the story/whenever gameplay happens is very inconsistent. Writing is not the best and some gameplay segments are very overwhelming. But still so underrated! It is worth experiencing this game just to see all the passion that was put into this game. To see all the effort and charm that was so consistently strong throughout the whole game. The story left me with a lot of unanswered questions and the writing is not the best, but the emotional beats are hit beautifully and the game has an awesome message. Also the ending is amazing. And the artstyle/animation work is amazing; definitely some of the best I've seen in video games. Music is awesome. The gameplay is super simple and fun, especially for someone like me who don't gaf about practicing/learning all sorts of gimmicks. It's so reactive and I love it. The characters are awesome and so full of life. Even random npcs/side characters that are not important. Vibes are amazing in this game. So much stuff to smile or laugh at. So many custom or scripted events that are so reminicent of games like Undertale/Deltarune. Arcade mode is there for the cherry on top. If you're chill asf, can look past a lot of the rough edges and appreciate the good, this game will probably be so incredible for you. As it was for me.
Boring
the marketing in this game is a massive psy-op, this game is not about rebelling against authority at ALL, you can scarcely call it about having a band, you barely have ANY concerts, i think you have like 2 or 3 in the entire game. The game isn't about that, at all. Hell for like 70% or 80% of the game i didn't even know what the main character's objective was, or even who she is. The game dumps basically all the lore at the final 2 episodes, and normally i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate games that do that Normally The ending of this game hit me in the heart in a way that i cannot explain. Gut wrenching doesn't begin to describe it. I can't really talk about it since, know, spoilers, but it's GOOD honestly how aimless the story feels until the end is a big problem i can't ignore. for a game that's about being a criminal and rebelling against the cops, all the tracks are depressing as ♥♥♥♥, which ties into the ending, but it made me really apathetic and at one point it made me just want to get to the next song, which amplified the ending, honestly, BUT IT'S NOT FUN TO HAVE THAT MINDSET PLAYING A GAME. Asides from that, i liked the ending, i enjoy the music well enough, and i really enjoy the gameplay, even if some of the types of silence probably need some explanation (the silence themselves need it honestly, i don't think they ever explain where they came from exactly, it's implied but ♥♥♥♥ like that should be explained when so much about this game is implied already) From a music game point of view, this game is great, from a story point of view it's messy and aimless for most of it, but it sticks the landing, so i recommend it if you like rhythm games and like tear-jerker stories
Moratorium Spark.
I got this game on release and i just fell in love with it from the start with the art style then the music then the story. I love how they made the game super cozy and serious at the same time with the story. As a rhythm game it's nothing special i cant lie its just like most others BUT BUT BUT the story that comes with it and the songs are a beauty on its own, the songs talk about problem that real people go through every single day and its put into such a calming melody that you just feel hypnotized by (when you aren't fighting the enemies). If you are thinking about getting the game I'll say now the open world is very pretty to look at and the characters in it are so well written, but again as a rhythm game its not to special. Overall 9.5/10 (cause i suck at rhythm games) I would get this for all my friends and I want to get merch from them D-CELL GAMES PLEASE ILL SPEND EVERY LAST DOLLAR I HAVE PLEEEEEEEEEEASE
It's a really fun game and I really wanted to like it, I've had it wishlisted since before it came out because I loved the demo so much... And, like, it's alright, but I can't say it was worth buying full price. I'm playing on Linux (tried Proton Hotfix, Proton experimental and Proton 9, 9 gave me the least issues) and it just keeps crashing at the cutscenes. My computer meets the requirements but I have to play on super low graphics or else it gets really hot and stutters all the way through, and I haven't been able to get past Ep. 1 because it crashes at the stadium every time (on the other protons it crashed at the prologue btw). I can tell you from experience, this game has absolutely no reason to be as resource intensive as it is. Some crazy optimization is desperately needed. Other than that, the gameplay is still very fun and the arcade mode played perfectly and as good as i remembered from the demo. Real disappointed on the constant crashing for story mode though. I'm not gonna get a refund in hopes that it'll be better one day, but I can't in good conscience recommend the game as it is, Looking forward to it! Sending all my support to the devs <3
