I played for hundreds of hours on mobile at launch, despite my steam play time. And unfortunately, despite my deep love for the personalities, voice acting, and storylines of the umas, I would not recommend this game. It's got one of the most predatory systems for gachas, something that cygames seems to be leaning into, while having almost no room for free to play players to have anything resembling an enjoyable experience. This was even before the botting become as bad as it seems to be now, although even when I played guilds would still have players artificially grinding fans. The pace of the game is brutal, and while the logic as to why it's so quick makes some sense, unfortunately it just leaves players burnt out and discouraged. Truly, the amount of time investment needed to get your account off the ground, situated with cards that will give you some semblance of consistency is distressing, despite the actual gameplay loop being one of my favourite princess-makers that I've seen. This game would be top notch if it was just a single buy, single purchase game, or even had set prices for each expansion, but instead you'll either save to such an extent that you're squeezing out the barest bits of free currency to occasionally pull when absolutely necessary, or you'll go completely broke trying to keep up with the metas and continue to see the new stories with the new girls. That doesn't even include cygames underpaying the staff in charge of doing the umamusume anime, which is also horrid considering how much profit this single game makes them. The community can be a lot of fun, and I do recommend people look into the various songs available for the umas online, as many helpful people have likely uploaded a version with whomever your respective fav is. But I would have saved a lot of money and time if I had known how the current gaming experience will likely not change for at least 2 years while they try to catch us up to the other servers, so I hope this helps someone.
