ULTRARUSH

Unfortunately I have to report that ULTRARUSH isn't very ultra at all. Instead it's an unfinished mess of a PvP only game without players which, while free to play, implements loot boxes without disclosing what might possibly be inside of them. [url=https://steamdb.info/app/1893350/items/]According to SteamDB[/url] these loot boxes should also be dropped just from playing the game for 10 minutes every 12 hours so you don't [i]have[/i] to buy them ... if you can stand playing this. Through my time trying to play this no lootbox dropped but it's unclear if you have to be playing a game against actual players ... and that's a problem. The game started for me in a 320x200 window. While Alt+Enter works I can't imagine how you can mess up Unity so badly this happens. Fortunately the resolution is saved once you set it properly. The tutorial doesn't work. You just fall through the world without being able to even select a team. Joining a lobby doesn't work either. On all of my attempts clicking "Join" duplicates the game entry on the lobby screen, then proceeds to a "Waiting for players" screen which just never ends and can't be exited from either so Alt+F4 it is. Opening your own lobby works but nobody will ever enter it, likely due to the bug above. You can however play by yourself, even win the game, but this doesn't earn you anything, not even the achievements associated with winning. Visually ULTRARUSH is a bunch of cubes as level geometry with some asset trees and doors and whatnot. There's a whole ton of bloom applied to everything so it's all pretty bright. Weapons are very low poly and there's no ADS for rifles or handguns. There seems to be only one very small map. Sorry, but this "game" needs fixing first, microtransactions second. Otherwise it'll just be the next dead on arrival PvP game on Steam.
