An interesting strategy-tournament game
At the start of the game we choose our pawn which represents one of the aliens, then we get to a board composed of hexes. Our task is to get to a point chosen at random by the computer and collect a crystal from it. The first player who collects X crystals wins. The problem is that each player has a limited ability to move, so he has to be tactical about what he wants to do and anticipate the movements of his opponents, because we can not only move our glute, but in addition we can manipulate the map by rotating its various elements, which means that even when we are two steps away from a diamond, the opponent can rotate the platform we were standing on in such a way that reaching the crystal will cost us two more turns. The game is perhaps a bit too expensive for the simplicity and minimalism it offers, especially since it is an idea from mobile phones, where I think it works better when we can play two or more rounds, sitting somewhere on a bus.
UFHO2 - 7/10
UFHO2 Is a very nice (now) free2play puzzle game developed by a small italian indie software house. How can I describe it? It kind of reminds me of a chess game, but ignoring the entire setting consisting of funny aliens going around in space and meeting other species to confront, you will have to move your tiny character along the "game field" with a limited number of moves before your turn ends, and the purpose is to reach and grab more crystal than the adversary. Most of the times you will play 1v1, but in some missions you will play 1v2, 2v2 or worse! The peculiar part of this game, besides the funny alien voices, is the game field made of hexagon checks which link to each other by limited sides, hence you can move from check to check only if they are facing by the riht sides. If they're not you can rotate them, but this will decrease your available moves per turn. This sound simple and almost boring but the real challenge lies in the fact that You can turn every check in the field but your adversary can do this as well, and considering that the AI is quite clever the game will quickly turn into a prediction game, where you must value all the possible moves from the adversary and make his path longer or more difficult so he has to waste moves to make a quick path while you reach your goals. That's all. Along the game you will find other powerups and things like that, but the game is actually this and nothing more, yet it entertains you with AIs more and more challenging. Oh, I almost forgot. The game uses Unity, but it works fine as the game has a very simple design, hence it can run on many systems without pretending so much from your HW.
+++PROs+++

GAMEPLAY. The real core of this game which recalls me chess in spirit, but with totally different rules: predict your adversary's moves and try to make is life harder by making his route longer than yours!
ATMOSPHERE. It has some childish look, yet it is kind of funny with the funny alien voices and a pleasant and nice soundtrack that will play during the game.

---CONs---

SAVE SYSTEM. I had to change HD for my laptop, so I had to reinstall UFHO2. I was expecting a backup save to automatically be loaded from steam cloud, but UFHO2 doesn't use that service... OK, maybe in my previous HD I can find a save folder... NOWHERE. Ok, maybe if I copy the entire game folder... NOTHING. Fine, maybe if I write in the discussion forums... No answer... -.-
I played this game on this machine: Laptop Lenovo Z50 Intel Core i5-4210U 8Gb RAM DDR3 GeForce 840M/Intel HD Graphics 4400 Windows 10 Home x64
You can follow my reviews through my curator page: Everybody's reviews You can also join my Steam group: Everybody's reviews You are welcome to join and post your own reviews, we can support each other!
_____________8__88_____8 ____________88_8__8_____8 ___________888_____88___88888 __________8888______88_8____88 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______8_______8 _________8888_____8_______8 __________88888____8______8 ___________8888888______8 __888_________88888_8 8888888________88_____ _8888888_______8_____ __888888_______88_____ ___88_____8_____8_____ ____8______8____8_____8_88 _______8888_8__88_8_88888 _____888888_8_88__8888888 ____8888888__88______88888 ____88888_____8_________888 ____88_________8__________8 _____8_________8_____ _______________8_____ ____________8_8_____ _____________88_8_____ ______________88_____ ______________8_____

Great mind-twisting game! I suggest to play it also with other players in the vs mode... really challenging!
This is a great puzzle game, very fresh and relaxing. Love the addicting mechanics. Soundtrack is awesome, sounds are perfectly fitting and very pleasant (alien voices are very funny!). Graphics may look simple but is functional, the scene is readable and full of eye candies here and there. Give it a chance, this game give his best when played.
