Tyrania is a kinetic visual novel, meaning a text-based game with a one ending linear story. The story is focused on the opposition of two different ideas of Justice when dealing with crime and terrorism.

holy bored omg. I couldn't even get through it because I was dozing off. I'm also not a fan of VNs with one ending because at that point, it's not even a game; just a video that I have to click (and I don't even have to click technically because I can just turn on auto). I find that good games need to provide the player with some agency and show that their are consequences to the actions that they choose (unless, of course, the point of the game is that the player has no control, of which is different). I also just don't like the art, and I'm very picky about that, whether that be a manhwa that I'm reading or a game that I'm playing.
A graphical novel with some classical allusions (Hobbes and Leviathan). However the characters are consumed by angst and drama and irrational impulses. Dialogue and thought bubbles suitable for the pre-teen section of the library. Occasional choices to be made; don't know if they are meaningful because i can't tolerate playing any longer.

The story itself is alright, but poorly written. Conversations are repetitive, there are key scenes but nothing to connect them. (and while the visuals are good, the characters have almost no expression, so it's hard to feel anything). I often had to pause to imagine what happened during time-skips myself, because YEARS happen (with important character development!) and you get NOTHING. The plot progression feels logical though, so there's that. It could have been good, but it's not.
