About
This is Tyr, a tank shooter where positioning, strategic decision-making, and mastery of unique abilities win.
Tyr features a roster of specialized armored vehicles and pilots. You’ll take control of treaded and hover tanks alike as you angle & position for defense, and rumble and glide across the battlefield.
Each vehicle also offers its own tech tree and ammo & component slots, affording you the ability to upgrade and evolve your ride to suit your playstyle. You may even be able to change up your vehicle’s unique keystone tech to dynamically alter your personal meta.
Each vehicle features a unique power that impacts Tyr’s moment-to-moment play on the battlefield. A tank may have the ability to blink several vehicle lengths forward or back, send out a sonar pulse to spot enemies, or overcharge its engine to ram directly into an opponent and deal massive damage.
In Tyr, you and your opponents will only be visible when within range or while making enough noise. Deciding when to push forward and when to fire from cover could mean the difference between staying hidden and revealing your position to the entire enemy team, so play carefully.
Tyr will test your mental mettle, patience, and teamwork, as deliberate play beats whoever can fire the fastest.

This is a great team building game, and strategy is key. Hop in with a friend or two and see for yourself. See ya battlefield!
By FAR the most genuinely enjoyable tank shooter I have played. Every tank feels unique, fun, balanced, and each has its own playstyle and build possibilities. The core mechanics of the game are well-tuned to make every encounter feel both readable and fair, something that is severely lacking in most games of its genre. I'm so hyped to see where this game goes in the future.
fun shooter
you will get sniped from across the map my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who can shoot at you without any consequence. THIS IS A PROBLEM ON EVERY MAP!!! snipers and scouts are the meta and heavy's are (near) useless. The moment you try to make a play or advance you die because 5 sniper tanks hit you. They will always hit you because of a feature that gives tanks pixel perfect accuracy after aiming for an extra amount of time. Bushes are wayy to overpowerd and the ark is even able to spawn in one for himself. A scout cannot dig out a sniper without getting shot himself. Not to mention that light are able to shoot heavy's from 150~200 meters away while in a bush and remain unspotted. Every map can easly be won by a good scout and decent sniping support while winning a heavy flank does nothing, There are sniping perches for the ark and arblast in heavy flanks (stopping them from brawling in the first place) and always one close enough to stop the other team from capping. the graphics look cool but they are laggy AF, i meet the recommended specs and my fps drops from around ~90-100 to 28 when going in a bush. Other random lagspike are not uncommon. I ended up switching to the lowest graphics to stop the random lagspikes. (i have a 1440p 34 inch monitor so your fps might not match mine) although i ranted a lot in the review, i wont deny that i had fun playing this game.
I LOVE TYR! i love playing a tank game that doesent require 30 hours of grinding to play in non ai filled lobbies, or to unlock the 1 tank you want to play, highly highly suggest you grab and try it out
Very enjoyable rounds, quick game loop. Tanks have real weakpoints and each tank plays very differently. For players fedup with WoT or WT pay to win systems, this is great
It's simply too good.
