The gameplay was alright but the story and level design were a bit lacking. The areas were gorgeous visually, but very confusing to navigate because of confusion on what was a pit or just a dark part of the ground, what was a column or a bright part of the ground, or just where to go in general. The story was also incredibly lacking in my opinion, as the only way you even know your character's motivation for entering the tower is from getting an ending, which feels like a bad way to express that information. The endings were also disappointing as it was just a few slides saying "Your character paid off her debt, hooray." or, if you left at the start of the game, "Your character never paid off her debt, so sad." and that was it. The secret ending is literally just the same as the normal ending with a slightly different beginning to it.

the art and music are very pretty, but the game isnt super readable (a lot of the Y axis variation is extremely unclear) and the combat isnt super polished. i cant tell if im supposed to use mouse controls or arrow keys, neither feel "right" to shoot with. twwwr has a level of RPG jank, but it's still good, and deserves way more attention
I played this game after playing Rusted Moss and found out the developers made this as well and had to play it. I love the art style a lot, just as much as I loved Rusted Moss' art style. The game was very difficult at times, (considering I played the game on the hardest difficulty for my first playthrough in order to get all achievements easier) but I really enjoy when games give me a good challenge. This game also had some issues with the parkour being a bit inconsistent at times, but even so the game was very entertaining to play and I highly recommend it to those who appreciate quality pixel art games.
I very much recommend this game and even after beating it and finding the secret ending I plan to keep trying to 100% just because I like the boss fights. The game has surprisingly good build customization for having such a simple to use trinket system and the bosses can feel way better or worse depending on what build you go. I think some of the trinkets are a little too strong but that is not necessarily a bad thing sense people can use those to make the game easier if needed. The game is only $3.99! That is a steal for how good it is and yeah sure it is a little short but oh well for that price. Plus it has a good amount of optional content that you can go back and play any time you want with different builds each time if you'd like. That in itself adds a good amount more play time to it past just beating the game one time. I do have some negatives though as well. I had a hard time hitting some of the enemies as the hit box for them felt weird to me and sometimes landing after a jump felt like it was in the wrong spot hitbox wise. Those are the only two things I can think of off the top of my head and they dont take away from the game enough to not recommend.
Good game.
Good game I like it
挺好玩的轻量级游戏,如果没什么大失误,差不多一个小时就能通关
Fun game, love the art style and bullet hell elements
What a fun game. Simple bullet hell gameplay with some exploration, in a bite-sized package. The art, boss design and music are adorable, very reminiscent of the Momodora and Cave Story games.
