About
Turtle Soup World is a lateral-thinking mystery game built around yes-or-no questions. You begin with a strange story that looks simple but hides crucial details. Explore locations, inspect objects, talk to NPCs, and ask the Turtle questions to eliminate wrong possibilities and reconstruct the complete truth behind each event.
A deduction adventure that begins with "yes" and "no."
First understand the story as it is told and remember every ordinary-looking detail. The real clue is often hidden in the part of the narration that is easiest to overlook. The truth may also involve facts never mentioned in the soup surface.
Ask questions that can be answered only with "yes," "no," or "yes and no." Confirm important facts and gradually narrow down the possible truth.
Freely explore the place where the story happened. Watch for changes in the environment, suspicious details, and things that may have been missed.
Learn about relationships through conversation and observe how each person reacts. Hidden information can emerge from only a few words.
Pay attention to specially marked lines of dialogue. They may contain the key information needed to move your deduction forward.
Examine objects in the environment, connect scattered clues with confirmed facts, and piece together a more complete story.
When you believe you are close to the truth, organize the clues and submit a complete theory. The system evaluates how closely your answer matches the real story; reach 80 points to pass the current story and reveal the true "soup bottom."
The game supports cloud-based large language models. Enter your own API key to connect with one instantly. This option lets the game run smoothly even on low-spec computers and usually makes deduction faster. Cloud models may incur a small fee. If you prefer your own local large language model, open the game's ai_runtime/models folder and replace the .gguf file with your own .gguf model file.
