most fun boxing game i ever played. boxing death match. no button mashing like the other games this is turn based tactics .cool skills quick fun matches.

Tons of ways to build the boxers. If you know lots about boxing you will enjoy the tid bits here and there when the rare event cards pop up. At first there is a bunch of event cards that sort of guide you and act as a tutorial. But eventually they become more rare, and on each one is a quote or boxing fact or historical thing related to boxing. Boxers can die or become god, or become gods then die. You can be an aggressive killer or a defensive counter puncher or a feinty southpaw. The possibilities are endless with the perks system, which is basically like the Battle Brother perk system. It all works well if you have the patience to figure it out and in the end you get a satisfying and really raw and challenging boxing game. OR you can tweak all the settings, turn it to easy AI, make punches do 3x damage and 10x severe injuries so boxers are dying all the time and your boxer is 50-0 and a hardened murderer. It is cross save compatible on mobile too, for full save file or just import individual boxers, which i like banging out a fight or two on the go on my phone. If you check the discord. there is occasionally tournaments hosted by the dev where you submit a fighter and they run ai controlled tournamnent. Its a good game you should definitly try it if your a boxing fan. The demo has a ton of content too, you can beat the whole game for free with just the demo, but the full game gives you even more fun perks and things to play with.

absolute masterpiece for an indie game, it has an entire system to generate new fighters from scratch and even has cameos from real life fighters too. Like mike tyson, or even kiryu kazuma from the game yakuza

Actually a really fun game. Enough depth and detail to keep it interesting. I'm excited to play much more. Need that #1 champion! Hoping there's still some updates to come.

A weirdly interesting game. The boxing itself is probably the most interesting part. It reminds me a little of the neo scavenger or Dwarf Fortress combat. Detailed in how you're hitting, clinching, pushing, and the hits are satisfying. But overall the game feels like something of a skeleton. Fights become monotonous and it feels like certain straetegies, like counter builds, are too dominant. It looks bad, it doesn't always feel balanced, and it's repetitive, yet I consistently found the boxing to be a fun curiousity. Everything outside the boxing is underbaked. Training your boxers is extremely boring and the finances fall short of a satisfying management game. It's hard to tell what the vision of the game is even supposed to be when you aren't in a fight. Overall its a cheap enough and interesting enough game to recommend if only for how much it is unlike anything else I've played.
