Both parts are of course no longer current in terms of the questions and answers. + lots of questions - There are often repetitions, although there are still many unknown questions
Did you know that China has banned "seductive" banana-eating while live-streaming ? True or False is back with more interesting and fun facts. This time, there's an explanation for every answer, which is a good improvement. There are also 100 achievements to unlock and trading cards to collect. And of course, the animals and the art are cute ! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=892151032 This trivia game offers around one hour of gameplay, worth your time if you're looking for a casual game to test your knowledge or spend time.

Good game. True or False 2 7/10 Heisen
True or False 2 is a true or false game? The game's artstyle is nice for what it is, there's only two different musical tracks and simple sounds. Nothing revolutionary there. As for the gameplay well, it's a true or false type of game, but my gripe against this game is about just how specific the facts are. Some of them are about some European person or about the birth name of singers, some questions are even specific to Dark Souls III, Fallout or even specific movies. It's quite annoying to be shown a few facts in a row that you're just left thinking 'who is this, what is this?' Now some of the facts were interesting to learn about, yes... but this is a $5 dollar game! Honestly it plays just like one of these browser games that are free and does the same exact thing, so there's no way I can justify paying that much for a game with around 150-200 facts. It takes about 30 minutes to complete! I must admit that having to go through the game a second time just to get some answers right, especially some subjective/comical ones is just... sad. I did get 74/100 achievements on my first playthrough, but there's not an achievement for every questions so you just have to play through the whole thing again to get 100% achievements no matter what. Overall, a 30 minutes browser-like experience for $5, not recommended.
"True or False 2" is barely what anyone would consider a PC game to be in 2024. It is, as the name implies, just a series of flashcard questions presenting a fact and prompting the user to respond if they think it's true or false. It's shallower than a multiple choice quiz game. It's something that belongs on Chrome or Firefox, not on PC, and absolutely not for the ridiculous price tag the developer slapped on this Adobe Flash tier garbage (I know, it's made with Unity, but it might as well be Flash, or just HTML for that matter). I'm apalled something this shallow and unengaging is wasting space here on Steam when more sincere developers are already struggling to find an audience for their games. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic low quality vector art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the mediocre 2D visuals. The game interface is mostly just text boxes/dialogs and features mostly static, barely animated 2D images, the kind of thing you expect to see in browser/HTML games from the 1990s. While that might be fine for the 1990s, gaming has evolved a lot since then, the ATI Rage became mainstream in 1996... it's 2024, and that kind of thing just won't fly anymore, it's just not visually up to scratch. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static images... it might as well be a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a modest spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. So, should you buy this game? "True or False 2" has the total ripoff price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
This is a fun, fast little question and answer game that takes only an hour or so to complete and 100%. There's only a couple of hundred questions (at most), and may of them seem to be about the irish for some reason! Seriously, there are dozens of questions about ireland, its people, animals from there, st. patrick. It's like the designer went to the Wikipedia page for Ireland and just made questions out of each of the paragraphs! That being said, the questions are all interesting.. Some are funny, some are just plain weird. But because it's a cheap little game, and its very short, I'm gonna give it a thumbs-up for being a nice little distraction.
Нормальная тема, интересные вопросы, правда конечные вопросы почему-то забыли перевести на Русский, он то есть.. то частично, но все равно игра норм. P.s. 1 Часть тоже прошел всю, Даешь 3 часть! I do not not recommend it per sé, I just don't think it's that interesting. The game is incredibly short. And obviously repetitive, but that is the nature of the game. It's more of a fun little trivia thing that you might play with friends. You could play it once by yourself, but it has no replay value.
Recommended only if/when cheap.
War ein ganz nettes Spiel, man beantwortet halt Quizfragen also keine große Sache. Aber es hat seinen Zweck erfüllt und mich einige Zeit gut beschäftigt. Außerdem ist die Gestaltung sehr süß.
