True Disc Golf

Most importantly... the core gameplay is great. It feels like playing disc golf. And that's enough to thoroughly recommend this game if you enjoy disc golf. It may be lacking a bit of polish, fidelity, and bells and whistles, but all of those things are just window dressing if the core game isn't good. And this one is. And hopefully the other, less important things, improve over time. (Personal request. Give us daily tournaments or weekly tournaments or something to play against other players. Online ranked is fun, but I'd like to compare my complete round against the community. Maybe give out some custom dyes or something to participants!)

My crew and I have been playing for quite some time now. The hours shown here does not reflect my actual time played, as we usually play on someone else's account. The ability to use the Tech Disc as a controller is incredible, which is what we primarily do. True Disc Golf is currently the core of our "Disc Golf Simulator", and is currently the closest thing we've gotten to a true simulator. The courses chosen are well designed and play well. Excited to see updates, more courses, and our league take off thanks to this game.

I used to play True Disc Golf on my Switch, and it was one of my favorite Disc Golf games. Now I can finally enjoy it on my PC, although the game is almost the same as the Switch version. I think the throwing and putting mechanics feel natural and fun, and the wind can be as cruel as in reality. I love playing a few rounds to relax, I just miss having more courses.

Very fun despite the jank! I've run into some visual bugs and game crashes, but the mechanics really do simulate the highs and (especially) the lows of a real round of disc golf: doinking your disc off the top of the basket, launching right into a tree trunk, skimming tree branches and screwing up your throw. It's pretty cool to see so many real discs modeled in the game, and I like the challenge of balancing the wind and course versus your disc angles and forehand/backhand. There's lots to improve with regards to menu design and basic UX, plus the bugs/crashes I've already witnessed. I'd love to see more features from golf games added here like greater control over the camera, the ability to spectate opponents, and a preview of your flight angle. Feels like a no-brainer if it's on sale, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the game grows in the future.

Tech Disc so GOOD! actually throwing the disc works great. Edit: Add Throw Distance at the bottom please. Maybe, shorter tee options for tech disc users (T-Rex arms over here). Thank you

Very fun disc golf game that pairs seamlessly with a tech disc. Get to play famous courses from around the world and great for when its too cold/snowy outside
