Troubles Land

Nice game...

This game is a train wreck. It's like someone tried to bootleg an early alpha version of Rayman Origins or Rayman Legends while simultaneously avoiding putting in any actual effort towards game quality. I do not see any originality and the level layouts are outright bland. The mechanics are atrocious all round with bad camera angles, blind jumps, wonky hit/collision detection, inconsistent checkpoints, and a glitched sword attack to name just a few. The claim for full controller support? That's false advertising at the time of this review. I had to manually map over half of the controls myself. Avoid this game at all costs. It's not worth your time and it's not worth your money.

well i see theres a lot of peoples disliking this game. i honestly don't quite understand, yes this game is heavily inspired by rayman legends, yes it's short, yes the controles are sloppy... But this game is only 5 bucks. For less than a charging cable you have a charming 2.5D plateformer with a lot of good looking levels, bosses, different types of gameplay and amazing musics

Don't buy this! Even if it's so cheap

Lo compré porque tenía muy buenas críticas y porque alguno hasta lo compara con los Rayman... desde mi punto de vista nada que ver, ni en jugabilidad ni en calidad, tan solo es similar a nivel artístico. El juego "huele" a port de móviles que tira de espaldas, horriblemente optimizado y con una respuesta a los controles absolutamente lamentable, igualmente el juego parece tener problemas para saber lo que está sucendiendo en pantalla y a veces tiene problemas para detectar que has pasado sobre una gema o enemigo. Por suerte existe "Steam Refunds". Una pena porque el apartado artístico del juego (música y gráficos) es excelente.

The platforming controls are terrible, four of the levels in a row are empty, boring schmups, there's no story beyond the opening cutscene, and the final boss is a nameless joke. Best parts were the OST, submarine sections, and that ONE level with all the traps and gears toward the end.
