Playing this late at night with headphones is a vibe.
Trouble in the Manor has a genuinely fun concept — a pixelated Trouble in Terrorist Town-style game with weapons, traps, and even a vampire in the basement you can make a pact with to become a nosferatu. The art style is charming, the rounds are short and chaotic, and when you have 5+ friends playing together it's an absolute blast. The problem is that the game is essentially dead — servers are empty, and this is a multiplayer-only experience with no bots or solo mode to fall back on. Unless you can convince a group of friends to all buy it together, you'll be staring at an empty server list.
The manor layout is complex enough to get lost in, which is good.
Look, it is not perfect. But for a few bucks, it is a steal.
The chat is hilarious. People really get into character.
