I love you
Do you have any idea how long it has been since a game brought me joy? Not just for a second, or a moment of nostalgia - prolonged joy. Years. This game? That's what it gave me. I am legitimately struggling to not write an essay's worth of praise. And the main reason I'm managing to resist is so I can go back to playing. I had such incredibly high hopes for this game LONG before it was released into early access, and I'm overjoyed to see that if anything, this exceeds them considerably. Game are ... hugely important to me, in a lot of ways - same as with most people. But a factor that isn't so widely shared is that I have major physical limitations in daily life. One key aspect of which is how much I can use my hands without causing injury or pain, something that has only shortened over time. This means that controller usage isn't something I can handle freely like I used to. A lot of games are effectively out of my reach these days, no matter how much I'd like it to be otherwise. However, I can still use a keyboard just fine. I'll admit, I wasn't sure how well this type of game would translate over, since I've got a fairly small niche of what I do on the computer. And you know what? It translated beautifully. Again, I could write a ton of praise here - I wouldn't really know where to stop. But I think most of all I'd like to repeat that I am overjoyed. I'd like to say that the animation, maps, music and audio, controls, physics, mechanics, pure gameplay and just overall vibes? Immaculate. I am so incredibly excited to see how the development of this game progresses. And to the creator, and those who also took part? Thank you. This is absolutely wonderful. I'm gonna go back to playing now and probably not resurface for several hours.
I love the game so far. It reminds me of SSX so much. I can't wait until they update the game. It has alot of potential.
Very good foundation. Eager to see more. Closest thing to a new SSX in years
Goated game. Hope the guy keeps updating it
Lovely Indie game that really captures that SSX vibe and gives me nostalgia tingles
So far a great little game feel like the OLD SSX games for sure even lets you remap all the controls to feel the same :D hope this gets more development
This game has some potential but the controls are still a little buggy and the uber tricks seem to be the same between all characters and kind of hard to land.
Absolutely captures the vibe of the classic snowboarding games. Definitely something to go on the wishlist if you're nostalgic for that. The game is still early in early access, but this is clearly a passion project of a very small team (I think it's one person?) and the dev is very active in the discussion board. I have faith that this will continue to get the love it needs.
