About

Trenches VR puts you in the boots of a World War I soldier trapped behind enemy lines. In this claustrophobic nightmare, fight for your life — and your sanity — as you navigate the horrors of war. Your only goal is to return to your family. Your only tools is an old trench whistle and your instincts to survive.
Warning: This game contains disturbing imagery, intense jump scares, and psychological horror not suitable for all players. Play at your own risk.
Enemies can hear your voice, breathing, and every move that you make through your microphone. Stay quiet, stay hidden… or they’ll find you. Collect clues, uncover the truth, and use your whistle to guide your way - but beware, every sound could give away your position.
Insanity: Just because you passed somewhere already, does not mean that there is nothing there. The environment may change with your sanity.
Repeatability: Experience may change for each player. Fog type, some parts of the environment, jump-scares and objectives location will be randomized on each play-through.
Plan Accordingly: Plan your next move as it may be your last. Peak around corners, watch your footsteps as some wooden floors creak, and be always on the move.
Microphone Input: Enemy can listen and hear your microphone, screams and sounds. Make sure to not scream.
Mark Walls: With the chalk you find in the trenches, leave your mark on the walls—your drawings will guide you when you’re lost.

Lots of scary fun . The game is simple but fun . The jumps scares are the weakest part of the game but aside from that I do recommend trying this game
quite the Thriller, very well done.
This game was pretty wild I made the Fun mistake of streaming it and everyone asking me questions and alerting the monster where I was all the time. This game has replay value and I had a fun time playing it!
The random bugs crawling on your face don't add anything, they're seemingly just random triggers thrown around. At best they're a cheap, pointless jumpscare that KINDA leans into how disgusting trenches were, at worst they make the game unplayable since i'm more scared of the bugs than the monster.
Jumpscares in VR in the Trenches. First off the game kind of runs like ass. Played it on the Quest 3 and I have not had issues with much more demanding games before. The controls were weird and there was a stutter that was making me nauseous. After the first monster revealed itself I realized that the WWI?2?3? theme went out the door. The monsters were so different and random that It felt like a wheel was spun and whatever random horror trope it landed on made it into the game as a jumpscare. There was a mannequin with a phat ass though, so that was cool.
Very poor. Cheap jumpscares, poor controls, the whole thing just reeks of poor quality. It's like a free itch.io game that's got VR in it.
I have found out that Im a coward when im alone. I cant play single player horror games in vr. Good horror game scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me will not play again
i played this game got scared and now i am writhing this review, if you are easy scared this game is to much but i am trying to get over it with this game
RUBBIH.....Uncontrollable......
I think that the game has lots of more potential, but there are some ideal stuff that needs to be added such as being able to adjust volume for different things such as background music, or jumpscare sound in the game, since they constantly come. Which can be quite annying for some people, it was for me. But it was fun sometimes, it just wasn't really my kind of horror game. Look around searching for dolls, while there comes LOUD constant jumpscares and hallucinations. I just didn't enjoy that. But! We can all improve, learn from our mistakes. I would say that in the beginning I actually did enjoy it. I was very excited, but after time with the jumpscares coming all the time, I didn't feel like the game was worth my time. So right now, I recommend it for people who thinks that's no problem for them.
