About

Trenches VR puts you in the boots of a World War I soldier trapped behind enemy lines. In this claustrophobic nightmare, fight for your life — and your sanity — as you navigate the horrors of war. Your only goal is to return to your family. Your only tools is an old trench whistle and your instincts to survive.
Warning: This game contains disturbing imagery, intense jump scares, and psychological horror not suitable for all players. Play at your own risk.
Enemies can hear your voice, breathing, and every move that you make through your microphone. Stay quiet, stay hidden… or they’ll find you. Collect clues, uncover the truth, and use your whistle to guide your way - but beware, every sound could give away your position.
Insanity: Just because you passed somewhere already, does not mean that there is nothing there. The environment may change with your sanity.
Repeatability: Experience may change for each player. Fog type, some parts of the environment, jump-scares and objectives location will be randomized on each play-through.
Plan Accordingly: Plan your next move as it may be your last. Peak around corners, watch your footsteps as some wooden floors creak, and be always on the move.
Microphone Input: Enemy can listen and hear your microphone, screams and sounds. Make sure to not scream.
Mark Walls: With the chalk you find in the trenches, leave your mark on the walls—your drawings will guide you when you’re lost.

There are few games that come along that seem unique, in how they play, and captivate you enough to keep wanting to, when it is time to stop. This is one of those games. It seems to blend a wonderfully crafted, if grim and rather foreboding, setting of a series of trenches during the first world war. The premise of the game is rather simple, thankfully it means I understand it, search and find, hide and be quiet whilst you are hunted,. Noise of your movements being a factor on how long you survive. Weapons, yup, effectiveness.....limited. Stealth, cunning wit ha sprinkle or two of luck will factor in how well you do. This game shows off very well what VR is capable of offering, the feeling of isolation, choices of direction to take within the trenches, all around you, and increasing tensions and you realise that you are not alone. Stomp around making noise, yes you can do that........................but there are consequences. Graphics and sound effects are top notch. Sitting or standing supported. Is this a game that you should consider...............absolutely not. Just go and buy it, no need to consider anything.....! Very much recommended in the short time I have enjoyed it, just need to find some spare time to continue.....
This game feels really scary and atmospheric. The 3D sound, unexpected jump scares, and dark mood make it easy to believe you are really in that trench. If you want strong emotions and a true horror feeling, I recommend trying it. The game is also well-optimized and runs smoothly even during intense moments.
