Nice gameplay for the price, but it’s very hard to gain advantage over the enemy. You take the role of a factory worker. Although he leads a simple life in his pleasant, cozy village, he has everything he needs. He even invited his girlfriend out for a date. But before he can enjoy the rest of his long life, he is called into action to defend his country from a much larger neighbor. If you're expecting more than what the trailer or screenshots show, this isn't it. The entire gameplay consists of surviving a wave of foes and surviving for 12 rounds. Despite some flaws and cheap price, the game has moments of decent gameplay Each round puts you in the same trench and wants you to survive for six minutes. You can move about and take positions wherever you like. The trench has two slopes: a taller one for shooting at attackers and a lower one for taking cover. Enemies approach you and shoot. They come in various forms, such as soldiers and vehicles. Soldiers are pretty smart because they will drop to the ground and crawl to make themselves more difficult to hit. Some may take two rounds, but the majority of them die with a single shot. Since you start with an old Mosin rifle, shooting is slow and not very precise. It feels like there's a distance limit and bullet physics because hitting anything from a distance is impossible. It looks strange when you shoot at an enemy and he side-steps to avoid the bullet. Another issue is that you cannot aim your weapon. Lack of precision is also common with the enemy, but they can hit you with a lucky bullet here and there. Although your primary concern is your own health, if soldiers reach the trench, you will almost certainly die. They will either enter or throw grenades. You can restart the round immediately, however it comes with a serious bug. The new round begins with zero bullets, and the game freezes. New gear arrives from a comrade in the trench who whistles when he has something. This happens after three minutes, and the gear is random each time. When you complete a round, you gain an upgrade point, which can be used to obtain the sort of weapon you want throughout the round or to improve certain areas of the trench. There's a medical kit, ammo packs, a machine-gun nest, and drones. However, progress through rounds is not great. You can return to any round from the main menu, but you'll start with the same health, gear, and ammunition as the previous round. Another problem is that if you do not use an upgrade point before leaving the screen, you will lose it. Since round 2 already raises the difficulty, you need to get lucky with a good weapon in round 1 to be able to get anywhere.
You play as, what I'm guessing, a Ukrainan soldier defending your home from Russians. The enemies come in stages and for each stage more enemies, and different ones, appear. If you play this game alone, it can get a little lonesome. BUT, if you bring a friend to play with it's actually quite nice. You defend the trench together, receiving new weapons every stage (random at that, and sometimes you are unfortune to get worthless weapons like one of the shotguns). Played this with my bud and that's how I recommend you play it.
fun concept needs some work. The inability to properly aim the guns, and the built in inaccuracy makes the game difficult to enjoy. I dont mind not having an aim down sights button, but to have the angular movement of the mouse so darn wide that you cant point at a target is frustrating. Still, for the price worth taking a whack at, an i look forward to possible updates and fixes
