Well seeing as the only other review is negative based on it not working for them I thought id leave my feedback as this app has worked first time with every country I picked with very fast loading times for the videos(a couple of seconds). The videos are typical 360 fare; short, distorted and fairly low res, but enough to immerse the user. Seems plenty of them too. Its free and does what it says on the tin so Ill recommend!

This could be a great travel experience for those who are afraid to fly. Unfortunately, it isn't. Videos don't load. You may find one that does but it is rare. I would like to see it improve. I'd like to bring the world to those who cannot or do not wish to travel. I cannot recommend this game at this point but I hope to be able to in the future.
Doesn't work at all, even with 200 mb/s connection.
Travel VR is a 360 video player that let you search by location on a globe for travel videos that are on the Internet. It worked on my system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, the UI was ok. The lobby looked good and worked, you are in space and you can grab and turn the earth with headset focus to point to locations on earth. Summary: Third best free travel VR app, behind Google Earth With Streetview and Jaunt VR. Very comprehensive collection of monoscopic 360 videos. Some videos are commercial in part. Needs control to fast forward and rewind. Is apparently not capable of stereoscopic videos. (Edit Dec. 14, 2017: YouTube VR just dropped. It's also monoscopic only, but it streams the whole youtube library) Examples: Colorado: amateur videographer grabbed my head to move the camera to a new spot, and didn't edit that segment out. Mountain top vista. Maine: interesting swimming hole. California: Home of silicon valley also doesn't have stereoscopic video. Beach boardwalk shots. Florida: opens with commercial for a car(!), no way to fast forward past bro-talk, manatees promised but lost patience. Alaska: Cool timelapse of aurora borealis. Canada: shaky helicopter ride then a cool ice cave tour. Greenland: less shaky helicopter ride over sea ice. Russia: OK hot air balloon festival. China: Short flight over a fully restored portion of the great wall, then a hotel commercial that made me quit. Japan: Well done. Cuts to something new every 5-10 seconds, pleasant narrator. Still monoscopic though. North Korea: OMG! A monoscopic presentation of video that is stereoscopic in JauntVR!! Taiwan: A street parade firecracker festival. Reminded me of mardigras, so... Louisiana: Not mardi gras. Ride on a gator sight-seeing boat.
Don't get it. Just says loading. I have a 200 mb internet connection, maybe that's not enough?
Controls don't work
Great Trailer... Videos don't load
