Pretty alright game, enjoyable and a good message
Good game a solid experience
Great game! Looks smooth and very promising. Personally, i'd like the crosshairs to be smaller and more subtle, but overall a solid experience. Well done!
Cool game! Not as easy as I thought it would be so it gets you really riled up! Very accurate targeting of the enemies. Update: After spending some more time with the game it's safe to say I would definitely recommend!
Unrealistic high price tag does not bring the expected gameplay and polish. The game is attempting to convey a lesson about what will happen if we do not manage our trash. In the future, there will be so much waste that people will be unable to live in a safe environment. Because advanced alien cultures dislike humanity's pollution throughout space, they decide to send something to Earth that converts trash into a sentient enemy. The story is simple, but entertaining owing to the strong accents. First and foremost, the game is roughly "indie" and was created on a shoestring budget. This would not be an issue, but the game is overpriced and lacks the necessary quality and polish. You could disregard it if the game was around the range of one or two dollars (or even free considering the message it carries), but that is not the case. The gameplay uses third-person shooter techniques. You can run around and shoot. Aiming is provided for greater precision, and you can rapidly switch between the shoulder camera for easier aiming around left and right corners. Although you can only carry one weapon (aside from the handgun), ammo is infinite. However, you'll have to reload. Unfortunately, everything else isn't great. Stages resemble arenas with an infinite number of enemies. The idea is to defeat enough enemies so some of them drop special keys. Enemies are brainless, which makes sense, but their behavior remains unclear. Instead of dynamic AI, which would cause them to run in various patterns, they appear to be trapped on tracks. So if you hide behind an obstacle, they will all use the same way to get to you. Enemies only shoot when they are close to you, so take them out as they walk directly at you. However, their aim is impeccable, and you cannot escape from one cover to the next unscathed. On the other hand, moving around is unnecessary because you can beat a stage standing on one spot. The game doesn’t save progress. If you quit the game, you’ll have to start from the beginning and watch all the unskippable cutscenes. There is no mini-map so you do not know where the fire is coming from. You can take a decent amount of damage, but you'll still have to look for health items to heal. These look like ordinary bottles scattered among other trash and are missing a much clearing visual sign.
Really interesting game with a very important message behind it, for the price its worth it.
Α very nicely designed game, with interesting gameplay, also its story which is about recycling motivates us to think a lot about our planet and that's why I recommend it!
Good game overall! it has an educational purpose which maeks it more interesting! aiming is good with a decent amount of recoil which makes it a bit harder! good job overall!
Warning: Asset Flip! TRASHMORFERS is a Digital Homicide style asset flip. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took some godawfully low quality game assets and dumped them unceremoniously onto the UFPS: Ultimate FPS game template. Now, they did add some of what looks like might be their own assets, a little bit of an intro scene (with some of the most comically heavily accented, badly translated English I ever heard), but then you launch into the most unwieldy and hamfisted implementation of UFPS + other assets I've seen in a long time. It has no value or merit as a real game. Of note, there's a credits page, which, of course, doesn't include the professional third party creators who actually created UFPS and the other assets used in the game. Plagiarism is bad. Usually I'll say it's not hard to create a credits page... but these guys did that, and just didn't credit the people who deserve it the most. Unethical. Really, it's harmful when asset flippers take the work of others and don't credit them, because it reduces the ability for the asset creators to sell more of their assets on asset stores. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. This game has been translated from some other language into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this game is broken and will put off a lot of gamers. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality which fits with the idea they weren't developed by the game creator... they look like they're "just reasonable enough" to go on sale as part of an asset pack. The issue of asset flipping aside, ultimately the quality of these assets is low and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? TRASHMORFERS has the pathetically optimistic price of around $8 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. This game features a number of suspicious, likely fake positive reviews. The reviews all appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and all have very similar wording and writing style. Immediately after this huge peak of reviews, reviews (and player counts) for the game dropped incredibly sharply. This is highly unusual given the very low quality of the game and poor player counts. The "Positive" review score on this game should be taken with a large grain of salt. This might have been done to deceive/mislead gamers into paying for a bad product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
10/10 concept with a powerful message! Quite uncommon for a beta version to not have any bugs!
