About
Trapventure is a tough but fun medieval adventure where you’ll be solving tricky puzzles, dodging deadly traps, and battling skeletons. Play as an archer and test your reflexes and brainpower as you jump across floating platforms, face off against enemies, and work your way through dangerous environments. It's a challenge, but that’s all part of the fun!
Key Features:
Traps & Puzzles: Solve puzzles and avoid traps that’ll test your timing and smarts.
Platforming Fun: Jump, dodge, and time your movements.
Rage-Inducing Challenge: It's designed to make you sweat. Expect to fail, expect to try again, and expect to love the thrill of overcoming tough obstacles.
Trapventure is my first fully completed game, developed solo while I was learning game development. Starting from a background in Level and Game Design, I pushed myself to learn more about programming and game creation through tutorials and personal effort.
This game is the result of that journey, a small but intense adventure filled with challenges. I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I enjoyed making it.
Thank you for playing!

What really impressed me was the level design. The platforming feels sharp, The challenges are smartly designed, and the game itself is full of charm, and the music fits the theme. It’s clear the developer put a lot of heart and effort into every detail. Especially knowing it’s the developer’s first fully finished game made solo. That alone makes it stand out.

Fun little game. You can beat the whole thing in about 30 minutes (if going quickly) to about an hour if moving at a relatively normal pace. Seems like there will be more to come in the future, but if you're looking for a fun little puzzle platformer with very light combat, you'll probably enjoy this. I only had two gripes. First, the video settings do not stay after exiting. I even tried making the config file read-only and it defaulted to the same graphical settings each time after restarting. No big deal because it only took a few seconds to reconfigure and it stayed the remainder of the play session. Second issue was that I had to start over about half-way through due to dying and soft locking by being respawned partially inside of a wall. This happened in the area immediately after the three symbol puzzle. I tried everything possible to "unstuck" myself and finally gave up and did a speed run to get back to that same spot in about 15 minutes. Otherwise, fun game and since it's free I'd encourage everyone to give it a try. Support indie devs!
I liked rushing this game. For a junior developper, it's very impressive. I could see his passion creating it and i wish him all the best for the future. It's simple and intuitive. I recommand it :)
A very solid little game for a one-person project! While the lack of sound effects from the player is a bit jarring, everything is pretty simple and easy to figure out even if you're a puzzle novice or platforming beginner. My only gripe is that there's so little reuse of the puzzle mechanics. If you expanded upon the puzzles and threw more at the player over time, it'd be a perfect little romp. As it is though, it's short and sweet and deserving of the positive rating. Should take you less than an hour to finish. Plus, it's free! No reason not to give this little game a shot.
TrapAdventure is a very fun game with a slight touch of frustrating difficulty. While the game is short, it makes up for it with well-designed puzzles and unique parkour sequences. Combat is dynamic and focuses solely on ranged attacks, which is quite original for a linear game. How about adding a sword in a potential TrapAdventure 2?
Коротенькая игрулька. Приятно играется, багов не замечено. За бесплатно просто шикарно
completely amazed by this game knowing that only one person worked on it. good job we want more please.
Skander, nice job! This was a really fun game to play! And we love the way you customized our menu system. We're looking forward to seeing more games from you in the future!
