The room is dark and unformed. You hear the voice of Claire: "I didn't mean to hurt anybody..." As the room snaps into place, you discover puzzles and solve them to learn more about what happened to her. The dolls are always close by, and her message is one of warning. Can you escape her mind?

The required minimum room size is quite large, especially compared to other games. I was unable to progress after just a few minutes simply because I could not reach things. Really needs some kind of in-game movement, or to scale down the room sizes and requirements.

It would be a simple enough mechanic to add a teleport option or the ability to shift you play space around a little. Otherwise you need to live in a mansion to play this. Here’s to hoping they don’t just ignore the need for accessibility. The game is quite polished with a simple but sharp take to the visuals. Dying is a little abrupt and I wasn’t sure if I had failed or beaten the game until I retried and got further. Hard for me to recommend it with the crippling play space requirements but the game itself is good so I will.

Requires you to have a huge room. I think at least 10 by 10 feet. Doesn't open half the time. Would not reccomend.
"Trapped With the Dolls VR" is a rather mediocre VR exclusive "escape room", this time putting you into an old-timey dollhouse. Wave your arms around to escape. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like at least some of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Trapped With the Dolls VR is a free puzzle game. It worked on my system, played ok, sounded ok. You Need to have the exact amount or more than the listed play area 2.5m x 2.5m. This one is spooky. It was created as a coding college project. It will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete if you have the play space. Try it if you like puzzles and escape the room games. Oda karanlık ve biçimsizdir. Claire'in sesini duyuyorsunuz: "Kimseyi incitmek istemedim..."
Do you have a huge room? Then play it otherwise don't. Very impressive graphics, good sound but you cannot play this game well because you cannot reach to objects beyond your reach and there is no teleport or walk mechanic. You will be stuck to progress so unless teleport/walk is added, this game would be waste of space.
This game is terrifying and a great use of VR. The puzzles are solvable but still difficult, and it’s quite scary. Some parts are too scary for players, like when they have to turn around and fix some teacups but a doll comes closer every time they turn away from it. The game also requires a large amount of space and doesn’t have any kind of teleportation option. Despite these issues, it’s still a great horror game. Go Tarheels! @House Undergraduate Library
