Trail of Stars

A short and sweet visuell novelle. Well worth to play. The artstyle is good. The dialogue is good. And the music is good to. Recommended if you want something short and simple.

Beautiful novel. The art and animations were gorgeous, and the story was very well-written.

A short but touching character study of the pair (who come together and apart in various times and settings) from the dev's other games. Lovely art, melancholy writing. This setting in particular is linked directly to The Last Winter Knight setting. I played this one after that one, so it was like experiencing a prequel story. If you play this one before that one it might change or speed up how quickly you pick up on certain story beats in Winter Knight progression/solving. Not saying either order is better than the other, more so that one can make a decision which kind of experience they'd prefer to have.

There's something so beautiful about this writing. I wish I could express it better, but it's simply so lovely, so poetic. The way the woman in red narrates the man in white's existence and person is just stunning to me. Like the way she describes how he's not really present because he's lost in his thoughts, always thinking ahead. How he doesn't even breathe without thinking about it. It's so moving to me. The entire story is a great little preview for the other game that I'm looking forward to coming out in a few (I think?) days from now!
