About
In Trade Conquest, wealth is your weapon, and the world is your battlefield. This modern Grand Strategy and 4X game challenges you to rise from a shrewd investor to a global superpower. Through cunning economic strategies, military might, and diplomatic influence, you’ll reshape nations, topple governments, and dominate the global stage.
Start as a strategic investor and grow your empire by acquiring resources, forging trade agreements, and manipulating global markets. Control strategic assets like oil, natural gas, rare metals, agricultural goods, and cutting-edge technologies to fuel your industrial growth. Use your wealth to influence global politics, sway elections, and even incite conflicts to serve your interests. Each decision you make will shape the world, as you build an empire of wealth and control.
But beware—the world’s superpowers are watching. As you gain control over vital resources, you’ll face opposition from global titans like the USA, Russia, China, India and the EU. These superpowers are not passive—they, too, will invest in other nations, competing for the same strategic resources that you need to build lucrative industries and powerful militaries. Friction will be inevitable as these global giants pursue their own interests, leading to potential conflict. Balance diplomacy, military power, and economic strategy to maintain your grip on power while navigating the threat of global conflict.
Economic Strategy & Resource Management: Develop industries to transform raw materials into valuable products. Manage a variety of resources, including lithium, bauxite, titanium, uranium, agricultural commodities, and more. Your economic prowess will be crucial in building a global empire.
Geopolitical Influence & Diplomacy: Leverage your wealth to shape global politics. Influence policies, manipulate governments, and orchestrate conflicts that weaken your rivals. Diplomacy requires careful management, as alliances can be forged or broken based on your actions.
Military & Conquest: Assemble a powerful military to protect your interests and expand your territory. Deploy infantry, tanks, artillery, planes, and more as you conquer provinces and seize the resources you need to maintain your dominance. Military strategy is essential as you face off against other global powers.
Research & Development: Invest in research to unlock new technologies and industries. Advance your military, enhance production capabilities, and develop cutting-edge technologies that give you an edge over your competitors. The research tree spans Business, Social, and Military domains, offering diverse paths to dominance.
Strategic Resource Competition: Compete with global superpowers for control of essential resources. Your ability to secure and manage resources like oil, natural gas, iron, copper, nickel, gold, graphite, coal and more will determine your success on the global stage. With superpowers also seeking after these resources, friction and conflict are inevitable.
Provincial Management & Unrest: Manage unrest in your provinces to ensure stability. Build infrastructure like security forces, universities, and military bases to maintain order. High unrest can disrupt production and trade, and even spark rebellions that threaten your rule.
Dynamic World Events: Beginning in 2022, Trade Conquest offers a living global simulation that reacts to real-world events. Geopolitical tensions, economic crises, natural disasters, and shifting political landscapes will challenge you to adapt and adjust your strategies.
Massive Scale: With about 200 nations and over 1800 provinces to manage and conquer, Trade Conquest offers an expansive world full of opportunities and challenges. Your strategic decisions will be tested on a global scale as you navigate this complex landscape.
Total Player Freedom: Choose your path to power—dominate through economic influence, outmaneuver rivals with diplomacy, or crush them with military force. Trade Conquest allows you to shape the world as you see fit, with every decision impacting the course of modern history.
Deep Strategic Gameplay: Every decision—whether in economic management, geopolitical maneuvering, or military conquest—has significant consequences, requiring careful planning and strategic foresight.
Real-World Relevance: Grounded in historical events and realistic economic systems, Trade Conquest provides a contemporary strategy experience that reflects the complexities of the modern world.
Endless Replayability: With dynamic world events, a diverse research tree, and multiple strategic paths to victory, no two playthroughs are the same. Your choices shape the world, leading to unique outcomes every time you play.
Will you rise from nothing to become the world’s most powerful force? The fate of nations rests in your hands. Seize control in Trade Conquest—where wealth equals influence, and influence equals dominance.

I am sorry but the building scheme, with very limited slot is simply RIDICULOUS. You also can't invest in manufacturing industry without 1st building one of its suppling extracting industry ? Ridiculous. For a game about market econnomy it is broken from the start.
good
Well, let’s start with the good: The concept is interesting. The production lines and the idea of building an economic empire are well thought out. Now, the bad—which unfortunately outweighs the good: Optimization: nonexistent. Industry tree: when I build an industry (for example, copper), I can’t easily tell which other industries it unlocks. It should be possible to clearly see what products can be developed from each industry. With hundreds of products, it’s impossible at first to understand what you need for what. Unclear costs: it’s not clear what the costs of each industry are, which products must be imported, or how much transportation costs. There’s a big lack of information. Diplomacy: it works, but it’s practically useless. Armies and borders: the armies are fine for what the game is, but how on earth are there no fleets? On top of that, enemies can invade from anywhere, with no limits on territories or borders. It’s total chaos. Buildings and upgrades: why is the building limit per region 6? Why not 10 or 3? Why is the construction upgrade limit 4 instead of 3 or 12? These arbitrary restrictions make no sense. In short: the idea of the game is solid, but the execution is poor. The menus are confusing, navigating the interface is tedious, and the markets make no sense. Why have 8 different markets if you later just rely on automatic sales? Everything feels poorly designed. Honestly, I can’t recommend it.
Disappointing ! Looks not very polished and still got very poor performance. UI is a nightmare. Also too much diversity.
manca un tutorial che spieghi adeguatamente come giocare, per il resto la traduzione e gradita.
Having started a normal campaign twice the same issues with opaque mechanics increasing costs or dropping market prices, or a mix of the two. Unrest, inflation, population ,per capita GDP. Excellent concepts that suffer from a tutorial reading like a VN. A more hands on tutorial is desperately needed. In the end I refunded because at the price I got it, I could not force myself to immerse in the mechanics. Maybe I'll get it at a 90% sale and try again in the future
.............
Looks very promising but a lot of the UI is just to small for me to use without sticking my nose to the monitor, Dev/s please consider UI scaling as a option till then i will have to give it a thumbs down sorry
I can't recommend this game after playing for like 10h since its release. idk if it started with new updates but I just tried to start a new run in june 2026 and couldn't build a wine production line at the very start of the game. the game takes the money, but doesn't build the upgrade. no errors no "you can't do it bc of this", just takes the money and doesn't give you the upgrade. if you read this dev, this happened on a southern shore province of Turkey.
