TrackMania Nations Forever

This game may be from 2008, but it's still a blast to play in 2026. I have not tested multiplayer so I can't say how that works, but racing against the ghosts and trying to get better times is still as fun as ever. Keep in mind, you can play in VR with either KBM or gamepad. Gamepad support is limited, so I can only verify that it works with an Xbox One controller. You can mess with world-scale to make the game feel different (100% default feels like you're behind the wheel, while 5% makes it feel like you're a big head inside a tiny vehicle in a giant miniature world). I do recommend 100% world scale because it makes the jumps feel more thrilling. But if you don't have strong VR legs, you may want anywhere from 50% world scale to 1%. Either way, this game is a lot of fun if you're into arcade car racing. The further you progress, the wackier the tracks get. This game has simple controls, but is very challenging. Getting that gold will seem impossible at times. I've never had more fun in a FREE VR experience. [b]Rate 9/10. Only the CTDs and fuzzy hub area keep it from being perfect in VR.
