I want to recommend this game, i really do, but i just can't. its way too easy to win by the 10 minute mark, and its boring the entire last few minutes. The game has quite a bit of potential, but fundamentally, it is far too forgiving. Specifically, in that whenever a tower dies, it drops just as much gold as it cost to build it. you can infinitely recreate towers almost instantly, and with a decent multi-archer build, you can handle an entire side by yourself, leaving the other half to the archers. Once you hit a critical mass of archers, which would be 1 archer surrounding every wall of the portal, and you literally can't lose unless you afk. The archers kill the vast majority of all enemies before they reach them, leaving only the tankiest enemies that spawn like once a minute to deal with. Theres only one of them, and given how many upgrades you should have by this point in time, they are very easy to deal with. None of the enemies feel different, as they are all slow and easy to kill within a few hits. And after closing the portal, the game is over. Theres nothing else to do, aside from restarting, which is boring due to the lack of challenge

could use much more complexity, found a working strat to beat the game on the second run and im just 0.7 hours in at the moment off writing. btw, the winning strat for me was acid arrows, getting them on the cheap archers and spamming them around the gate and constantly replenish them as i go, i also picked up fire and spread arrows. dont worry about loosing troops, you always get a full refund for them!
