这作音乐感觉像zun喝大写出来的,系统也像喝大做出来的
Touhou Seirensen: Undefined Fantastic Object is a vertically scrolling bullet hell shooter developed by Shanghai Alice Gengakudan and published on Steam by Mediascape Co., Ltd. As the twelfth mainline installment in the legendary Touhou Project franchise, it represents a fascinating blend of classic shoot-'em-up gameplay, creative mechanical innovation, memorable storytelling, and some of the finest music the series has ever produced. While every Touhou game offers its own distinct identity, Undefined Fantastic Object stands out for introducing one of the most strategic scoring and resource systems in the franchise while maintaining the intense challenge and beautiful projectile patterns that fans have come to expect. The game's narrative begins with strange reports spreading throughout Gensokyo regarding unidentified objects floating through the sky. Rumors quickly emerge that a legendary treasure ship has appeared, carrying priceless rewards for anyone capable of finding it. Motivated by curiosity, duty, ambition, or simple excitement, Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, and Sanae Kochiya each set off to uncover the truth behind these mysterious sightings. As the story unfolds, what initially appears to be a treasure hunt gradually reveals deeper connections to forgotten legends, sealed powers, and figures from Gensokyo's distant past. One of the game's strongest qualities is its ability to make every stage feel like part of a larger adventure. Unlike some shooters where levels function merely as sequences of enemy waves, Undefined Fantastic Object creates a genuine sense of progression. Each stage introduces new environments, new mysteries, and new characters while steadily building anticipation for the revelations waiting near the conclusion. The journey toward the flying ship creates a strong narrative framework that helps tie the entire experience together. Gameplay remains firmly rooted in the traditional Touhou formula. Players choose a character and shot type before navigating dense fields of enemy projectiles while eliminating enemies and bosses. The controls are exceptionally responsive, allowing precise movements that become essential when dodging hundreds of bullets simultaneously. As always, the game's hitbox system rewards careful positioning, encouraging players to weave through impossibly narrow openings while maintaining offensive pressure. What truly distinguishes this entry from other Touhou titles is the UFO collection mechanic. Throughout stages, enemies release colored tokens that can be collected in various combinations. Gathering the correct sequence summons special UFOs that provide valuable rewards such as additional lives, bomb pieces, or score bonuses. This mechanic introduces an entirely new layer of strategy because players must constantly decide whether to prioritize survival resources or maximize scoring opportunities. The brilliance of this system lies in how it encourages risk-taking. Collecting UFO tokens often requires moving into dangerous positions, forcing players to balance greed against safety. Even experienced players frequently face difficult decisions regarding which rewards to pursue and when to abandon risky opportunities. This creates a dynamic gameplay flow where survival and optimization are constantly competing priorities. Boss encounters represent some of the game's most memorable moments. Every major character introduces unique attack patterns that combine visual spectacle with demanding gameplay. The spell card system remains one of the defining features of the Touhou series, and Undefined Fantastic Object delivers some of the franchise's most creative examples. Bosses fill the screen with intricate formations of colorful bullets that resemble elaborate works of art while simultaneously testing reflexes, pattern recognition, and concentration. The cast introduced in this installment is particularly strong. Characters such as Nazrin, Kogasa Tatara, Ichirin Kumoi, Murasa Minamitsu, Shou Toramaru, and Byakuren Hijiri quickly became fan favorites due to their distinctive personalities, visual designs, and roles within the story. Each boss encounter feels unique because every character possesses abilities and themes that directly influence both gameplay and presentation. Their interactions also contribute significantly to the charm and humor that have always been integral parts of Touhou's appeal. Difficulty is naturally a major component of the experience. Undefined Fantastic Object is not an easy game, even compared to other entries in the series. New players may initially find themselves overwhelmed by the sheer density of projectiles and the additional demands of the UFO system. However, the challenge remains fair because attacks are carefully designed and highly readable once players learn their patterns. Success comes through practice, observation, and gradual mastery rather than luck. The visual presentation successfully combines simplicity and elegance. Although the graphical technology is relatively modest compared to modern releases, the artistic direction remains highly effective. Bullet patterns are vibrant and visually distinct, character portraits are expressive, and stage backgrounds contribute to the sense of adventure. The game's aesthetic embraces the traditional Touhou style while introducing themes inspired by Buddhism, folklore, and supernatural mythology. The soundtrack is often regarded as one of the finest achievements in the entire Touhou franchise. Composed by series creator ZUN, the music consistently elevates every stage and boss encounter. Tracks seamlessly blend energetic melodies, emotional undertones, and memorable hooks that remain recognizable years after completion. Themes such as Emotional Skyscraper, Captain Murasa, and The Tiger-Patterned Bishamonten are frequently cited among the greatest compositions in the franchise. The soundtrack not only complements the action but also helps define the emotional identity of the game's story and characters. Replayability is another area where Undefined Fantastic Object excels. Multiple playable characters, different shot types, various difficulty settings, scoring strategies, and hidden content encourage repeated playthroughs. Mastering the UFO system alone can require dozens of hours, while dedicated players often spend far longer refining routes and improving scores. This depth ensures that the game remains engaging long after the credits have rolled. What makes Undefined Fantastic Object especially impressive is how successfully it balances innovation with tradition. It introduces a significant gameplay mechanic without compromising the core principles that made Touhou popular in the first place. The result is a game that feels fresh while remaining instantly recognizable to longtime fans. Touhou Seirensen: Undefined Fantastic Object stands as one of the most accomplished entries in the Touhou Project series and one of the most rewarding bullet hell shooters available. Its imaginative mechanics, memorable characters, challenging gameplay, excellent stage design, and phenomenal soundtrack combine to create an experience that remains highly regarded within the genre. For both veterans of shoot-'em-ups and players seeking to explore one of Touhou's most celebrated adventures, it delivers a masterful blend of challenge, creativity, and charm that continues to endure years after its original release. I got an easy 1cc (I am terrible at these games) and like yeah this is a touhou game. Probably my favorite one I've played so far, decently hard but the ufo is cute so that makes up for it
