About
In the closing months of World War 2, an ancient ritual is performed to bring ancient warriors into our world. From each nation, anime girls are summoned from the Hyperborean dimension to fight as a representative of their people and infused with the soul of a mortal woman of the time. Unfortunately the ritual is interrupted, and dark forces leak through that corrupt the soldiers involved into zombies. With the world now on the brink for both sides, the girls unite to stop the zombie horde that threatens our world.
Totenkampf is a classic round based survival 1st and 3rd person shooter with anime girls and magical elements to spice up the setting and gameplay. Each girl has her own elemental abilities, and can also gain more powers by exchanging points at altars that provide a small link to their world. Aquire powerful weapons from WW2 and combine the powers of both worlds to cut through countless waves of zombies.
There are 6 girls to play as, representing the USA, England, Russia, Germany, Italy, and Japan. Each has her own personality and unique element. All of them are fully voiced and will interact with other characters around them through dialogue. They make use of Ice, Fire, Electricity, Water, Earth, and Wind abilities. Many will work well together, so be sure to use them as a team!
You can change the outfits, headgear, and hairstyles of each character. You can also create your own character entirely, and customize her face, body type, and hair to your liking! Get new outfits and other customization items by unlocking achievements in-game!
Fans of WW2 shooters will recognize almost all their favorites here! There are a total of over 30 guns to use in-game. From the staples like the MP-40, M1 Garand, Kar98k, and PPsH-41, to the rarer weapons like the TZ-45, Volkssturmgewehr, and FG-42. There's a huge variety to work with for any play style.

from my very little time sems decent just needs more to it more devlopment which will come in time like every game
holy peak
Game is very good, however it needs a way to upgrade weapons in some form. Something like Pack-a-Punch as reaching round fifteen the weapons feel very weak and takes multiple mags to kill one zombie.
Ооочень ждал выхода игры. Прикольная но по скольку только вышла, ещё сыровата. Оружие норм, форма тоже норм кроме советской. Карта одна. Надеюсь на лучшее ваше будущее разработчики. Please write me an email kirill77775645454@gmail.com or add me as a friend. Please, please, please.
At the time of this review I have only played the single player mode and have to say it is rather fun to just kick back and take out zombies with some lovely WW2 weaponry while blasting something like D.R.I in the background. So from a single player perspective, yes this game can be enjoyed and for $3.99 I feel the game is a steal as it does what a game should do, be fun. Multiplayer: The only options are Online through random matchmaking and LAN co-op. So far I have not had any success in finding anyone to play with through the random matchmaking and have no one local at the moment for LAN. Gameplay: It is simple, kill zombies and score points. With enough points you can either open new areas around the map, buy weapons (or buy the weapon again to refill ammo), or buy powerups. The ability to switch easily from first person view to third person view is a nice addition I enjoy. I do find the game to be challenging on single player and haven't made it past round 10, but it is fun enough that I do want to keep trying and tackle map progression in different ways to try and get all powerups in a single sitting. I do think the item drops from zombies may need to be tweaked however, because sometimes I will get multiple full ammo refills in a row and then nothing or get a x4 multiplier when there is no enemies to kill so it wares off by the time more spawn and that x4 multiplier can be a real help especially when playing solo to help open doors and get powerups quicker. Speaking of points, it would be great if there were more ways to acquire more points faster by doing certain objectives during the wave or quick successive kills because things can get quite expensive points wise. If you are looking for a game where the focus is to just shoot things and survive for as long as you can, Totenkampf: Anime Waifus vs WW2 Zombies is a good option.
I review games and DLC based on whether the overall experience is worth your time and money. Is the game good? Yes Is the game worth it at full price? Yes Is the game's experience better with friends or singleplayer? Better with Friends! Totenkampf does not need much of an intro to explain what it is. It is basically COD Zombies: Anime Edition for $4 haha. For that price, it is definitely worth buying, especially if you grab a few copies for your friends. The game has some rough edges and could use quality-of-life improvements, but the fun is absolutely there. It is cheap, funny, and a great game to play with the homies for a couple nights. Very peak. You should get a few copies for the homies. You are missing out on greatness. Message to the developer: I think adding a World War II anime zombies mode could be a really fun idea, especially if the zombies themselves were anime-style characters. That could give the game a stronger selling point and make the Steam page stand out more visually with thumbnails showing that. I also think the main menu, character models, and general polish could use some improvement, but the core idea is already fun and definitely worth building on. Also, is there a Pack-a-Punch in the main map? I honestly couldn't find one haha.
Really fun game!
Pretty addicting game. Fun achievements and the guns feel very satisfying. Hoping to play it more when I have the time. The waifus make it a guaranteed 10/10 ofc
