TORSO TENNIS

ハクスラ感のあるローグライトゲーム。キャラが受け付けないレベルでキモイ。 リアルタイム疑似ターンベースのような感じで行動間に遅延が生じる。 妨害したりボールを連続で打ち込んだりハチャメチャだがテニスゲームとして成立っている。 ボールが積み重なって一発20得点、なんてことになり忙しい。 胴体に付ける5つのLIMB（パーツ）を買ったり敗者から奪ったりして強化していく。 LIMBには3つの特徴があり、おなじ物を重ねることで３段階にレベルを上げられる 1　ステータス：遅延を解消したり体力を上げたりできる 2　特性*1つか2つあるタブ：同じ特性の異なるLINB同士で効果アップ 3　試合中の効果：サーブした時、リターンした時、ダメージを受けた時、試合開始時等に効果を発揮する。 試合は3×8の24試合あり、ステージの終わりにはタトゥーで追加効果を得られる。 ステータスを鑑みながら色々な構成でクリアが可能なのでプレイの幅は広い。 ゲームオーバー後は戦った相手達（又は自分）から一つLIMBを得て再プレイができるので、やりたいプレイの方針が立て易く、もったいなくてやめられなくなる。 コントローラ－には一応対応しているがsteam入力を有効にして、レイアウトを設定しなければならない。 追記：サーブを打つ時にクリックする。リターンにはクリックする必要がない。 リターンはボールのポジションに移動すると自動で打ち返してくれる。ただし打つまで行動を拘束されるので注意。高い得点のボール周辺に1点のボールをバラまいて足止めとかできる。 また、リターンとサーブではボールの落ちる場所が違う。特に４角でリターンから即サーブを打ちボールをバラけさせるのが強い。 LIMBは売った場合、同額で買い取られる。奪ったものは安く買えるが安く売られるという事。序盤に欲しい物が無いからと何もつけずに戦う必要は無かった。涙 対戦相手からLIMBを奪う程、サーブ、体力のステが上がるタトゥーがクソ強かった。 8時間半でクリア。 45時間全実績解除！　テニスゴッドに俺はなったぜ！　会いに行く方法探すの苦労したぜ！ エンドレスモードでPCが止まるまで強化するも良し、テニスゴッドに会いに行くも良し。 ハマってたゲームを押しのける位には、めちゃくちゃ面白いぞ！

Great roguelike with a charmingly avant-garde aesthetic. Got a successful run first try after several unsaved runs of the demo versions, and yet there’s still more to do through the various challenges. Definitely worth the 5 dollars

This game is super fun! The art style is one of my favorite things about it. There's plenty going on that makes it feel really active which gives a solid dose of adrenaline and a sprinkling of dopamine. Without the tennis elbow. I love the different options for builds and the tattoos that can strengthen what you've already got going on. It's unique enough to not feel like the thousandth roguelike you've played but familiar enough that you can quickly get into the swing of the game. (Plus the dev is super nice and he's got a great newsletter)

Such a unique and cool game! I love playing it on my steam deck, I recommend.

Torso Tennis adds a unique twist to the rogue-like deckbuilding genre. It has fast-paced gameplay combined with the composing of a variety of builds in-between levels. Every round ends with that “just one more” feeling. The visuals are weirdly stunning, complementing the bizarre characters you encounter along the way. That said, I am looking forward to a bit more balance, especially as certain builds can feel over- or underpowered. Torso Tennis is a delightfully strange and addictive game!

Absolutely gorgeous artstyle, and very fun/frantic mechanics! If you're reading this review and you are a fan of roguelikes in any capacity, please check this game out.

Very weird visually, but mechanically pretty fun. The rivals (bosses) can be quite difficult depending on your load out, so unlike a lot of more recent roguelikes focusing purely on randomness and manipulating your chances, this is predominately skill based which is quite nice, haven't experienced that in a while it feels like.

I love this game a lot and really enjoyed it, the only downside is that I beat the game so well I created an infinite loop of hitting balls and it crashed my game

Can't believe how well fleshed out this game is, Very fun game play loop when you get into the rhythm! Good auto battler with a unique combat style.
