I own Club Manager 2015, which is an ancestor of this. It is really very good and I bought it for on sale for a pittance, something like $3. Nearly all of the gameplay is exactly the same so I'd check out the reviews there for in-depth discussion of those features. I wrote one that was very good. I was impressed. Anyway, this game is 5 years newer, 3 releases later, and the price of a AAA management game. Yet it is almost entirely the same as CM2015 except: A very simplistic 2d match display which just shows you the location of the ball. The ability to coach in a bunch of different nations, though this is just cosmetic. The ability for owners to request goals which you must meet each season or be fired. Some people like this, but the goals seem arbitrary and don't add much to the game. I got increase stadium capacity by 100 seats and build a kiosk as my goals. Personally I just turned it off and would never use it. There are other really minor improvements to the gameplay but nothing significant. It was largely cosmetic changes, and not even that different looking. Most of the graphics are exactly the same as what you saw in 2015. The interface has changed a little. In my opinion it is more clunky than before. There are also some small bugs. In other words nothing that comes close to justifying a $35 price tag if you can get Club Manager 2015. Club Manager 2015 was a really good title, and if the dev had developed this game from that point even a little bit he might have had a legitimate franchise on his hands. Instead he's dragged out the desiccated remains of this title every year and put it on sale as if it were a new title. Note, I'm not saying that this is a title which is very similar to previous releases, like you see in Madden or something. IT IS EXACTLY THE SAME. This concept that the dev has is great. Developing youth teams from the age of 7 and being able to play through a season in an hour or so is awesome. So what I'd recommend is go get yourself a copy of Club Manager 2015, which is the same thing and a lot cheaper than this. I'd go up to $15-20 for CM2015 and I doubt it costs that much right now even when it's full price. But do not pay $35 for this re-release under any circumstances.

Nett, einfach und schnelle Saison. Denke mehr muss ich nicht sagen. Vergleichen kann man den etwas mit BMH oder Antoss. Nix für pingelige Datenmanager :-) die genau wissen wollen welche Unterhose der Stürmer trägt.

tolles game zwar nicht anders als die vorgänger aber was solls, einzigst der preis ist wahnsinn wüsste nicht wie man den anders beschreiben könnte

Das Spiel ist das gleiche wie der Vorgänger, der nicht mehr funktioniert. Man ist hier quasi gezwungen für 30€ ein Update zu kaufen.

Nostalgie schön und gut, aber für dieses Geld eine einzige Enttäuschung

Ich bin ein wenig hin und hergerissen: Ja, das Spiel macht durchaus Spaß und enthält alles Wesentliche was ein Fussballmanager mMn braucht: Aufstellung, Training, Transfers, Jugend, Stadionausbau, Sponsoren, alles kann selbst in die Hand genommen werden. Meist ist das relativ schlicht gehalten, aber immerhin vorhanden. Leider ist die Bedienung aber recht hakelig (teils winzige wichtige buttons, redundante Fenster), auch gerät der Alltag doch recht schnell sehr monoton. Unter der Woche passiert außer nervigem, nicht abstellbarem Weiterklicken von Wettbewerben, an denen man selbst nicht teilnimmt, nicht viel. Es bleibt alles etwas an der Oberfläche, wirklich lange dabei bleiben werde ich daher wohl nicht. Unter dem Strich und in Ermangelung aktueller Alternativen ein klarer Daumen zur Seite! Geht leider nicht, daher eine Kaufempfehlung im sale, €10 wär es mir wert!

Ich finde das diese Version ganz gut gelungen ist. OK, es ist die 2017er Version aber im Detail deutlich verbessert. Ich habe fast alle Torchance Versionen gespielt. Diese hier ist definitiv die beste und damit Fans der Serie (die nicht so detaillierte Manager mögen) absolut zu empfehlen. Man läd sich ja eh die Original Daten und Spielerbilder herunter um in der Saison 2020/21 zu starten. Ich bin absolut zufrieden und mag es wenn ich in Liga 8 beginnen kann und wirklich etwas aufbauen kann. Ich vermisse halt Dinge wie Trikotverkauf, Aktien, Stadionausbau usw. in anderen Managern. Hier kann man wirklich einen Verein aus dem Nichts groß herausbringen, das ist beim FM21 nicht möglich.

Das spiel ist langweilig und entspricht nicht meine Vorstellung eines Fussballmanager.
